What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Sam is an INCREDIBLE air BnB host from heaven. She made everything easy and went the extra mile for us in every way. The treehouse was so cosy, we felt right at home and had such a peaceful stay. The hot tub was also incredible and made our stay. Sam, thank you ❤️

I cannot speak highly enough of this place- there was a large group of us and we all said it was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. It has a lovely fully equipped gym, a roomy and warm hot tub, spacious kitchen which was wonderful to cook a huge Christmas lunch, and a cosy living room to chill and watch movies. Lisa was a fantastic host who was always really responsive, helpful & very kind, and she even left us some Christmas treats and decorated with a Christmas tree 🎄 We couldn’t haven’t asked for a warmer host or house for our Christmas so we are so thankful & happy we chose to stay here! Thank you Lisa! We definitely would love to stay again!

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

We’ve stayed a few times now, we keep coming back as it’s the perfect weekend away! Really comfortable cabin with everything you need for a quiet weekend, great hot tub, and lovely walks in the surrounding peaceful countryside. Willow Cottage exceeded my expectations, it was quiet, comfortable and is even better than the photos / descriptions and positive reviews speak to. We had a great stay with my reactive / nervous dog, enjoyed a 10k loop walk to Rye and back - followed by a dip in the hot tub. The garden was totally secure, for my inquisitive terrier. Thank you Nina - can’t wait to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay this weekend with girlfriends for a much needed trip away! Lisa’s house is beautiful from top to bottom. The photos don’t do it justice! We had a few questions for Lisa whilst we were there and she replied instantly and came to assist straight away. Would thoroughly recommend Lisa’s house for a special occasion with loved ones or just to get away for a nice weekend!

Host John was friendly and give us the privacy in thier back garden space. Kids enjoyed the games kept inside the house. Also good space to enjoy with family and kids. good beach themed house. Hot tub was fantastic and relaxing

This is an excellent place for two families to have a comfortable, happy stay. There’s loads of activities in the house that are geared around social interaction and family bonding the space is light and well designed and the kitchen is well equipped. The walk to Whitstable is around 45 minutes and a perfect length to build an appetite and keep kids entertained as you pass along the coastline. We hope to return.

We had a lovely time at Stephanie’s place. The cottage is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. It is also very quiet. There was a welcome pack, when we arrived, with some delicious food. From East Hoathly it’s a short drive to many places of interest. I also recommend the King’s Head, the local pub (great food!) Perfect! Thank you Stephanie and I hope we can stay there again.

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Simone’s place. A great house with lovely views and some great nearby walks.

Had a great stay at Dani’s cottage, a great location, a short walk to the beach, the local pub and shop. Also for those who do not drive, the property is located a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to Rye station. The house was lovely and well looked after, had everything you would need to feel right at home. Highly recommend and will definitely return 😊

We had a great stay on the house, absolutely loved it. Everything was perfect, nice and cosy with all the essentials you would need. Great location with a lovely view of the harbour. Would love to come back again anytime the house is free. Richard was very accommodating as well to us with any requests we had.

My family and I needed a place to rest while escaping the chaos of our home being packed up ahead of our house sale, and Richard's lovely cottage was perfect for this. It is clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family could want. Richard was responsive and accomodating of our requests. We are very happy with our stay and would recommend Richard's cottage to anyone.

Wow, what a gem! I booked this property mainly because of the location - I was in the area visiting family and it was ideally placed. I also loved the look of the property and it didn't disappoint, it felt immediately homely and was very comfortable. What I hadn't reckoned on was the warmth of the welcome provided by Alexis and her family, from the home baked muffins waiting for us when we arrived, to the regular visits from her three gorgeous dogs. The children loved the treehouse and the donkeys, and Alexis recommended some lovely walks from the property, although our busy schedule meant we weren't able to take advantage of these - something for our next visit! If you're thinking of booking this property and you're hesitating for any reason, I urge you to go ahead! It's a truly special place with a wonderful host.

We had an exceptional stay at this house. It is spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, offering all the comforts you need for a successful holiday. The pool is a real asset: large, perfectly heated and well maintained, it was ideal for enjoying relaxing moments with the children. The sauna is also a real highlight. The welcome was warm and Frédérique was responsive to our needs. We highly recommend this rental and will be happy to go back.

Stopped here before going through the tunnel. So handy for terminal, just a short drive. Loved the surroundings of the place, little business park next door with micro brewery pub. Easy access via back gate so was really handy with the dogs. Huge fenced in back garden. Nice circular walk, again access through back garden/business park. The house is fabulous, living/kitchen area perfect, lots of extras, milk, orange juice, snacks, salt and pepper etc. Even logs left for log burner which doesn’t happen very often without a charge. So cosy with it lit. Nice comfy bed, and shower was amazing. Would have been more than happy to spend a few days there!

What an amazing place and brilliant hosts who could not be more helpful. The little treats on arrival made it an absolutely amazing stay!

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

The cottage is clean, welcoming and quaint, with a log burner and beautiful Christmas tree glistening in the corner. We felt right at home straight away. There are plenty of games and things to do in the house to keep the guests entertained. The kitchen is well equipped for those who want to cook at home. It is the perfect place for relaxing and cosy winter getaway.

Pekes is a perfect weekend get away. Set in Sussex countryside far from the madding crowd. With facilities on the door: swimming pool and jacuzzi. We stayed at Tudor View which has stunning views and was a comfortable living space for the five of us. Thank you Pekes Team.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!
