Cottage vacation rentals in Findhorn

This is a fantastic property. The wood fired hot tub and log burner were ace, and great ways to beat the winter cold. The kitchen/bathroom was clean and contemporary. The bedrooms were cosy. Communication with the host was top notch, Matthew even helped me find a missing Amazon parcel. The place was easy to find, and had detailed literature on the local amenities as well as how to use the facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Rowan Cottage is a beautiful and cosy place that was spot on for our family. The only slight set back we had was regarding the temperature of the hot tub. Robin and the maintenances guys responded quickly and tried everything to resolve the issue.

This was our second time staying at Eva’s place and we just loved it. Cosy cottage with a great wood-fired hot tub. A secure garden and also a stones throw from the beach made it a great location for our kids and our dogs! Friendly local pub right outside the door and fantastic restaurant Crofters a couple minutes walk away. Also only 15 minutes walk to Fortrose for more eating out options, takeaway and gift shops. Loads to do nearby. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing holiday. Cottage was beautiful. Everything we needed in the cottage. Games room was a bonus! Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 teens. Beautiful location. Log burner was lovely in the evening. Fantastic hosts!

My husband and I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay at Butler Cottage. The estate grounds are amazing with a mix of woodland and farm fields scattered over the hills. We enjoyed daily walks done and along the river. If your animal lovers like we are it was extra special. The Highland cows and sheep add beauty to the scenery, but the deer, hares, pheasants and other birds of prey really add the wow factor. The cottage is full of charm with an old world feel. It’s been very smartly renovated and decorated and is in great condition. We loved the farmhouse style kitchen which is open to a comfortable living room with high ceilings. The built in beds are beautifully done and although on the small side we enjoyed the authentic touch. The wood stoves on each end of the cottage work well to add extra warmth in the evenings. Ross was a gracious host. The place was with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh goods from the farm. He even had the fire started for the hot tub.

We had a great stay at Laura's place. The place has everything you could want -- kitchen items, books, games, etc., not to mention a wood fireplace and hot tub perfect at the end of a long day! And it's a great location.

I had a wonderful few days here with my husband and kids aged between 4 and 14. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and in an excellent location. It had everything we could need for our stay, and some! I only wish we had longer to visit. We would love to stay here again.

Brett's cottage is outstanding. The surroundings were tranquil. wish I had the time to explore more whilst staying in the cottage as Shandwick was so lovely. Would recommend this little piece of serenity to anyone looking to explore the north Highlands.

Perfect Location, only a few minutes from the town but you feel in the countryside. hosts were amazing. Highly Recommended!

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cottage. Everything we needed was there and the surrounding is a beautiful forest. It’s not to far from Aviemore.

A wonderful cottage in an excellent location! The cottage has a great selection of kitchen equipment and utensils, a relaxing lounge with games galore, if you wish, all you need for your stay. The bed was so comfortable which makes such a difference as you get older 🫣 My husband, myself and our two labs had a superb break! We loved the welcome from those that stayed in Seatown too. Well we loved Kate's place The Wee Cottage. Has everything you should need the dogs and us really enjoyed the fireplace. It was a luxury for some extra cosy nights in over the new year! Has everything and more you could need, and Kate was always happy to help and just a message away, so helpful. The Wee Cottage is exactly as we imagined form the information provided on Airbnb and we loved it had many laughs in our stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

The cottage is lovely & cosy, and the theme of Corgis throughout is unique and cute. Such a good price for a lovely place, right opposite the sea and only a couple of minutes walk to the amenities in Lossiemouth. Plenty of beaches to walk with your dog. We picked a DVD to watch each night from the bookcase which was a nice touch. Not to mention the fire place. The garden is lovely but I will say it is dog secure for corgis/small dogs, not our very bouncy young springer spaniel! Overall a very enjoyable stay at Corgi Cottage

Great stay in a beautiful cottage, so well equipped and very comfortable in a quiet area. Lovely place so close to the beach my grandson loved it as well. Recommend the Cullen Skink soup at Lily’s Cafe, very tasty

We had a great holliday. Location and the house were both perfect! The house was spotless and everything you need is there. Lots of great walks from the cottage. We all (family with 3 kids) had a wonderfull holiday.

We loved our stay at Ann Marie’s place. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Thought has clearly been given to what is in the cottage - we used the dvds and books. We followed some of Ann Marie’s recommendations for local places to visit. Overall it was great and we would go back.

The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. David and Louise had thought of everything and Findhorn was a lovely base to explore this amazing part of Scotland. We would recommend the circular walk from Logie Steading (Divie Dunphail Castle and Randolph's Leap) and the Nairn River and Nairn West Links walk. Duffus Castle and Hopeman Beach were also great. The veggie haggis morning rolls from The Bakehouse round the corner were another level! Thank you for a restorative stay in this little haven.

Lovely cottage, would use again if in the area.

We did get a little lost once we entered the estate as there was roads forking in two directions but a quick call to Gill had us back on track. Beware of the track leading up to Garden Cottage as there are a lot of pot holes. It was all worth it once we got to the cottage though. The cottage was clean and spacious with a lovely log fire that we took advantage of everyday. Plenty walks around the estate, pity we couldn't walk up to Forglen House but you get pretty views from the river.

Such an incredible location! Arrived at night so waking up the following morning to the surrounding was fantastic. Kids had the best time playing the snow and we explored the walking tracks literally outside the cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. Such a great escape where we were able to reset and reconnect as a family. We’ll definitely be back in warmer months to experience the bike tracks nearby.

We loved staying at Claire’s cottage, perfect for a relaxing and comfortable trip, it was spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. The welcome pack was brilliant, and had all the information you’d ever need. Claire’s communication was fantastic! 5* cottage and 5* host! Findhorn is a lovely place and everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly, the bakehouse along the road is fantastic and well worth a visit!
