Jane was a terrific person to deal with as we planned our return visit to Foz for our anniversary. Very quick to respond to our queries and offer up suggestions for our trip. Very hands on about the booking, even though she doesn’t live in the local area. Thanks Jane!!

My husband and children were very comfortable. It's true that it has rained. But it was fine in the house. It had an electric radiator, which was appreciated, because it was a bit cold and I have small children. The beds and towels are impeccable. The kitchen is very clean and has a good fridge, freezer, stove, oven and washing machine. Very good food. There's a hand blender. Everything is more spacious than in the photos. Everyone can eat comfortably in the dining room. It should be noted that there is only one bathroom and showers have to be staggered. But impeccable white towels. The location of the house is a bit out of the way, but you can walk to the town's beach (all flat) which is wonderful. Parking is great inside the house's grounds. It is recommended not to drink tap water, so you should bring bottled water

Clean and quiet place in the middle of the old town. Properly equipped for cooking at home and with good working areas (if you don’t work long hours ;)) 15-20 min walking distance to the ocean and beaches. Restaurants close by, laundry just around the corner.

Good air-conditioned space, close(by car) to various cities and beaches. Organized and well-equipped house. It met expectations!

Casa Trilhos da Serra is an incredible and detailed property, both from the point of view of the decoration of the space and the amenities available to guests. We were excellently received by Amélia upon arrival, which, moreover, has always proved to be very available and communicable. We really liked the outside area, especially the pool area which is quite private. The house was extremely clean and tidy. To highlight the kitchen, very well equipped with all the necessary utensils. Overall, it was a very happy stay and that left the urge to return.

We had a great time at this beautiful property. Although we booked very spontaneously on the evening of our arrival, everything was perfectly prepared. The very quietly located, huge property has a wonderful park-like garden with mature trees and a beautiful infinity pool with great views. The accommodation is a mobile home with its own driveway, far away from the main building, so you can enjoy complete privacy. It is well equipped with everything you need. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

Peaceful location, great place for family and friends, Maria is always responsive and always answers promptly. Large pool with great view, 45 min to Fatima to north, about an hour from Lisbon. Thanks Maria, we had wonderful staying in your place.

Probably the most kind hosts and the best house we have ever been to.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Maverick Surf Villas. Lots to do in the local area, stunning coastline, definitely need a car, but its easy to get every where, roads are very quiet. The villa was beautiful, so much space and everything you could need. Hosts were very helpful, gave us lots of advice on the local area and hosted some lovely dinners. Thank you so much.

We stayed with a group of 6 adults and 5 children for a week at the property. All in all, we were completely satisfied. The house has a few age-related peculiarities (windows and sliding doors sometimes difficult to open), but this did not limit our satisfaction. The rooms were spotless, the pool was great and there were even sand toys and umbrellas for the kids. It's also great that the house is so big that not all guests wake up when a baby cries at night. We had a great time in Lourinha and would be happy to come back!

We arrived at the property and were thrilled at how well equipped it was, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed. Beds were nicely made, but the pillowcases were too small for the pillows so we’re quite bulky and not very wide. Lots of storage. One Babyliss hairdryer to share. The pool was bigger than we were envisaging, it’s cold (we went in late July), but fine once you get in. It’s not heated. Don’t expect any pool cues, BBQ, golf equipment for on site crazy golf or ping pong set - you have to get those yourself so we didn’t use any of those facilities having travelled by plane. Walk to beach 15/20 mins Outside seating is spacious and plentiful with seat pads, there’s an outside light front and back. Note there’s no door from the lounge to downstairs bedrooms so noise travels. Layout - Lower level (kitchen, bathroom, twin room and nursery/single). Upstairs (two spacious en-suite doubles, 1 x dressing room, 1 terrace. Highly recommend for group/large family.

It's hard to adequately put our appreciation of Linda & John's warm hospitality into words. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We felt like we were staying with family we didn't know we had...in Portugal. Over the years, a number of our AirBnb stays have been nice but clearly run by businesses - some with leasing 'agents' that were more accessible than others, but businesses all the same. Linda, John, & their daughter are real people & their sweet canine family members Lucy & Bobbie are real doggers :-). The very personal feel of the stay we enjoyed in their home is reminiscent of the concepts we're under the impression AirBnb was founded on - genuinely welcoming homeowners who are eager to share a glimpse of the little piece of the world that they love with their guests. We were sad to leave our new friends & very hopeful we can stay in touch. And now with a limited # of characters to work with... we've at least tried to put our appreciation into words.

Absolutely perfect location for beach stay, surfing and belly boarding. Long waves for beginners. Rafael is a perfect host understanding that guests need lots of hooks, hangers to dry towels and swimsuits. A lovely little balcony to have morning coffee overlooking sandy beaches.

Great spot right on the beach, perfect if you’re wanting to be near the surf spot in Baleal. The host was always responsive, accommodated an early check in and even helped us out with extending our stay. Highly recommend!

Second time we stayed here, and for a long time. Everything's great. Highlight for the amazing view and the hosts that are always available.

Rich & SAM were great hosts who went the extra mile that made our stay special including providing warm fresh bread, home made cakes and scones, delicious! They also provided fresh farm eggs, milk freshly squeezed orange juice and a lot more…… We didn’t have the best of weather during our stay but we were warm and cozy and additional wood pellets were provided just as we were running low without having to ask. If you like walking it is an ideal location to trek the countryside but within a 10-15 minute drive of a number of good eateries. If you choose to eat in the kitchen has all the essentials and weather permitting you can dine on the terrace looking out on rolling hills and distant farms. We had a great 4 days and are looking forward to our return.

Schermin's place is really lovely, clean, neat, well decorated, and located right next to the square with the church and ocean view point in sitio. It's also a short walk both to the Nazare beach and to the North beach, and very close to the the big wave spot. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. But still it's very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The communication with Schermin is also smooth and clear, there are plenty of nice features in the house such as desk for working, nice couches both downstairs and upstairs, and a lovely washing and drying machine that does its job well. There is a dehumidifier if it gets too moist and plenty of heaters in the house for the winter. The bed is very comfortable as well. I felt very comfortable, relaxed and at home during my stay.
