Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Great winter getaway. The cottage was cute, cozy and clean! The description of the cottage doesn’t do it justice as there are four nice bedrooms (the fourth one is just tough to see in the pictures) and although the water isn’t potable, there were jugs already there for us upon arrival. Only thing missing was a coffee maker, but otherwise wonderful stay!

Sarah was a great host and the property itself was beautiful! My friends and I had a lovely time visiting for some good relaxation! Sarah responded timely and was very kind. We would recommend this place for sure!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

This place exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Kabin Bjorn. It was absolutely stunning both inside and out and was just the relaxing vacation we needed. The cabin felt like home and we didn’t not want to leave. It was loved by my husband and I and our 2 dogs who enjoyed being able to explore new surroundings. Cassidy was such and amazing host with quick response times and always made us feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better time away. We will certainly be booking again 😊

We had another wonderful time! This was our second year spending a winter long weekend here and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is so cozy and winter forest is beautiful. We enjoyed snowshoeing, outdoor fires and time in the hot tub. We will definitely rent again!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at a Kyle’s cozy Airbnb for a winter getaway, and it was exactly what we needed. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing while surrounded by snow. The snowstorm added a magical touch, creating the perfect winter wonderland right outside the window. The cabin itself was warm, inviting, and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and ensured the property was clear of snow. Overall, it was a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat, and I can’t wait to come back!

Staying at Briar Ridge Cabin at Daryl and Karen’s is magical. The beautiful property can be thoroughly enjoyed by walking along the forest paths, enjoying your morning coffee at the waterfalls or just relaxing by the fire. We will definitely return for another stay!

My spouse and I had a lovely time at the cottage. The hosts were very communicative and thought of everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing time and look forward to coming back!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The cabin is very cute & cozy and had everything we needed for a winter weekend getaway. The animals were fun to interact with.

Had the pleasure of staying at Khristel’s cozy chalet this past weekend! What a stunning property. Secluded, quiet and pristine. The chalet itself has everything you can think of to have a wonderful stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and a chefs dream space to work out of. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all so nicely decorated and a lean as a whistle. You can tell that a lot of love has gone into curating the special warm and inviting ambiance of this place. We cooked great meals, watched a ton of movies, had a couple bonfires and went snowshoeing! We didn’t get to fully utilize the game room but we got so excited to see billiards, ping pong, darts, fooseball and large jenga! Overall an amazing peaceful and fun getaway!! Would highly recommend!!!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

The place is wonderful and Edvard was available for all our queries. It was a pleasant and memorable experience for me and my family!

This cabin in the Buckhorn area is a wonderful retreat with classic cabin ambiance inside and cottage lifestyle vibes outside. A beautiful home with multiple levels and beds that works well for a group to enjoy a meal together or take in the views and also works if some with to lay low while others want to have lovely conversation as the lower level is more isolated. The locals are also extremely friendly! Khristel was extremely responsive when I had questions and the well presented guide was helpful and made the whole process an easy experience allowing myself and guests to just meet right to relaxing! would love to go in the summer to see what the different season is like!

We had a great weekend ! Amber's place was clean and well organized ! We felt comfortable and relaxed i would recommend it to anyone!

We had the most amazing time during our stay in mid February. The 70 cm of snow and freezing temperatures outside made the tiny little cabin even more cozy and private. Cynthia and Steve were the most friendly, responsible and most thoughtful host we’ve experienced. They went above and beyond through reliable communication and had great recommendations about the local area. They also really thought of everything to make their cabin a home away from home. From the cute local pottery to the fancy high tech toilet, this off the grid experience was much more comfortable than anticipated. If you are looking for a private camping experience, this place fits the bill. Thank you again Cynthia and Steve again for creating such a beautiful place for us to get engaged. Your little cabin has become very sentimental to us, and we look forward to visiting again!

This Airbnb is such a hidden gem! Located within the resort you are surrounded by super friendly folks but have enough space in the cottage and in your private fire pit to have some great time with your guests! The host was very responsive and made sure we knew about the corn roast and BBQ (which was phenomenal). Tons of activities and the view was so lovely. Never seen so many stars in my life. The host was also so fast to accommodate us when the wifi had connection issues and dealt with it in a very fast timely manner and it was smooth sailing from there. Definitely on my list to return to!

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Fabulous little cabin. Clean & comfortable. Very nice. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you need to make a meal. Natasha was very responsive to any questions we had.

This cozy, snug gem was the perfect place to get away from Toronto and enjoy some hiking in Algonquin and nearby trails. Check in is a breeze with a coded lock, instructions were clear as a bell, and even though we arrived late, the cabin was warm and ready. The space is well designed, - we were able to eat our meals in, and prepare picnics for our hikes. The bed is very comfortable. Jennifer's husband is friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to visit her gorgeous chickens (who are obviously very spoiled). Highly recommended.
