We have stayed at many places in Scarborough - but Ballygale is by far our best! Uninterrupted views, long sunsets, a walk to the beach, star gazing in a lovely warm hot tub. The space is comfortable and well equipped with many thoughtful homely touches. We were even lucky enough to encounter the resident tortoise,Burrito 🐢 Sebastian was lovely to deal with, we can't wait to come back. . thanks again

We had a lovely stay at Mussel Inn. Lisa & Oliver provided clear instructions and the house matched the description and photos. It was amazing to get away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Cape Town for a few days. We had a peaceful stay while there with the sound of the ocean in the background. Scarborough has excellent star visibility which was a real treat for us. We'd happily stay again!

Loved our stay! It can be hard to find somewhere that can accommodate a group of 10, but the cottage was spacious enough for us, and had plenty of communal space to hang out! Great back yard with small pool, wood fire hot tub, and braai area with fire pit, couldn't ask for a better set up to connect with a group of friends over meals or just to hang out. A highlight for me was the fact that the kitchen had large doors that opened directly into the back yard, overlooking a large outdoor dining table, so there was a great natural flow of conversation and food! The hosts were incredibly kind and understanding, helped us when needed, and made us feel welcome. Great stay, will be back!

Simply fantastic! The cottage in De Kelders is perfectly equipped and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are very friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more special. The location is beautiful, with a stunning setting that ensures an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

Very pleasant and quiet place. Super friendly hosts and the hot tub is truly a standout feature! I definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It is really cozy, has everthing you need, an Amazing view and the pool is a real highlight, we used it daily :-). There is so much to do and discover in the area, we went twice to sea the Penguins, hiked atcthw cape of good hope, went to the naval museum and drove to Chapmans peek.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful little cottage. It was very clean, safe, cozy and peaceful. Actually, the word "serene" keeps popping into my head when I think of our stay! The garden is so very interesting and I spent quite a bit of time simply staring at the various plants and arrays that have been set up. Having breakfast at the outdoor table was such fun and an opportunity for us to bond and plan our day. I highly recommend this cottage; it is a true gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle's fantastic holiday home and felt incredibly comfortable throughout our visit. Michelle's friendliness, the excellent location, and the well-thought-out amenities of the house are truly outstanding.

We had a lovely stay at Nikki’s with our 11 month year old! She made us feel very welcome and the cottage had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the pool a couple of times which was a perfect temperature. The cottage was very well located to explore the beautiful Deep South area and walkable to the Farm Village where you can enjoy yoga, yummy food and lovely shops.

Amazing place and amazing people, we had an absolutely awesome time and the house was wonderful. We’d recommend it over and over 😊

Clean and quiet. Secure area but easily made arrangements for uber collections and drop offs. Lovely pool and facilities such as braai areas, chairs and sun loungers. Great to have separate pool and bath towels. Appreciated little touches such as salt and pepper, coffee plungers and wash up items to use.

This is a very special area and the accomodation was perfect for our needs, with its exclusive view overlooking the pristine nature reserve and ocean. Highly recommended!

Beautiful cottage in the middle of Dunstone vineyards. Well equipped and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be back!

11/10. Incredible stay! 10 minute drive from downtown Franschoek and easy access to all surrounding wineries. The property is gorgeous and the private salt pool is amazing, especially on hot days. Kitchen is brand new and well equipped, we enjoyed cooking there, especially grilled lamb chops with a bottle of the property’s merlot on our last night. Hope to come back for another visit soon!

The space has been put together beautifully. We loved the art on the walls and the comfortable living areas. It feels like a home we could easily return. Easy driving access to beaches, restaurants, and the mountain. The premises feel very safe. Definitely recommend for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It is clean, well located and has beautiful views from the shared swimming pool area. Lucy and James were always responsive and very helpful. One word of warning…..if you are using SatNav to get there, take the Price Drive route. Ours directed us to Blue Valley which ends up going down a dirt track and leads to a dead end.

Super nice and nice stay in Franschhoek. Graham is very friendly and responds quickly should there be anything. The cottage looks nice and there is a lovely garden in front of the cottage. The cottage does not have air conditioning (we knew that) but with a few days of 35 degrees it got very hot. Fortunately, there are nice fans on the ceiling. The rooms are bright, so if you come with children, I would take this into account. Furthermore, very nice accommodation!

A beautifully located Airbnb. You have your own little house with a shared pool with the hosts. The whole atmosphere is beautiful with views of mountains, beautiful sunsets and a quiet stream that flows right next to the Airbnb. I've never had such friendly hosts at an Airbnb before.

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay at Jenny’s. The cottage is a little slice of heaven - beautifully furnished with meticulous attention to detail. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the view of lush greenery as the morning sunlight streamed. Jenny was the perfect host and made us feel right at home. We already miss her highly addictive weekly cinnamon buns :-) Thank you so much Jenny for being so wonderful and the best holiday, we can’t wait to be back!

We loved the cottage. It was private and peaceful. Anne is a fantastic host, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need. If you want to get away from everything but still be close to all that Cape Town has to offer, this place is ideal. We will definitely be back.

A cute and cosy place with a lovely shared garden and pool. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, the place was clean and they had arranged a cot and high chair for our toddler. Kommetjie is a nice and calm beach town, safe to walk around and enjoy the ocean breeze. The unit does not have a dishwasher or washing machine, otherwise well equipped. I would be happy to come back!
