Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fallowfield

What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

What an amazing place Scott has , the location is perfectly located to many walking routes and so much more! We went out on a few walks and coming back to Scott's place was exactly what we needed , home away from home , hot tub to relax in . The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Whatever your reason for staying there the apartment will certainly cater to that! We absolutely loved our stay, Thank you Scott and will certainly love to return again as we have a few more walking routes to conquer! Regards Gene , Rachel and Bentley

The apartment was lovely, clean, well kept and just as described. Sadiya was also amazing, friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond if we needed anything. She really made the stay feel easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had an amazing 2 nights at Little Nook! Such a unique and relaxing place to stay. We go away with great memories. The cottage and hot tub were excellent. Our host Ralph was fantastic. He was very helpful to tell us about the best places to visit and eat. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay. We hope to come back in future.

Overall it was fantastic and would recommend staying here for the immediate surroundings. We had fantastic weather for April so we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and the kids enjoyed the garden which was big enough to play football and rounders in. The only nitpick we had were the towels provided were very hard and scratchy and after using a lovely bath or shower the towels were not nice to use. So maybe bring your own in case they are not replaced soon. Although this did not affect us as the weather was great. If it did rain a lot and you were stuck in the downstairs lounge or dining area has no view of the lovely lake you can see from outside. There are views from upstairs main bedroom windows though.

Amazing experience at Dot’s farm. The old farm house was a beautiful cozy stay. The wood burning fire place was amazing and the beds have cozy heaters if it’s chilly! So lovely and peaceful. Amazing scenery.

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous place in the perfect location, easy access, privacy, loads of space. Was immaculate on arrival, lovely and warm and with everything we needed for a short break. Had our 2 dogs with us and its perfect for them.

I can sum up my stay with Jennie in one sentence: Professionalism and empathy at every level! The apartment and location were great, but the service made all the difference. From the very beginning of planning my trip, I got in touch with Jennie, and she always responded promptly, providing detailed information and showing genuine care for every aspect. Even when an unexpected issue arose, she was incredibly proactive, immediately offering a solution, following up on everything remotely, and later making sure everything had been fully resolved. For anyone planning to visit Manchester and looking for a pleasant place to stay with a polite, professional, and caring host, I highly recommend her!

Richards place in Delph is cosy and picturesque! The view from the front window is beautiful and the property is just a short 5/10 mins walk from the high street. The outdoor space is practical and great for bbqs! Would love to come back! Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is located very close to the tram, so it was really easy to get around. It’s also very near the main station, so when we arrived from London, we just took the tram straight to the apartment — super convenient! The host was really helpful and always responded to our messages very quickly. The apartment itself was lovely and super comfortable, with lots of amenities available for use. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the TV is a smart TV too! Thank you so much! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a last minute stay with Dave for a music event, my second time staying at the motorhome for an event. Dave is brilliant with communication and always happy to accommodate. The motorhome is exactly as described and Dave is happy to answer any questions promptly. Lovely stay yet again. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a great stay, the house is spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely secluded back garden to look out on from the living room. Beds comfy, little touches provided like extra blankets, soap stuff in bathroom etc. Really appreciated Simon's flexibility on check in time. Would stay there again.

I stayed with my mum and friends in the Airbnb for around one week. It is stylish, clean and comfortable. It is in a convenient location with lots of restaurants. Andy and Paula are great hosts. I once had some problem with opening the main door lock. Andy was responsive and called me directly and gave me clear instructions to help. I really have an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place to others.

It was overall a good stay. The only thing I was not satisfied was that I was not informed right after I booked the place that I need to return the keys to a remote location, I was only informed 2 days before the checkin date. The keynest location is the opposite direction of the airport. we booked the place because it’s close to the airport, but in reality we had to leave earlier and got a taxi to take a detour to the city center before going to the airport. After a few rounds of discussion I was informed that they cannot change the key returning location. Picking up the keys was fairly easy because we came by the train, the pickup location is by the train station. We didn’t expect much as the apartment seems like for Bnb only, and managed by an agent. Kate and Rishi are all very nice. It has all the basic things, the kitchen is fully equipped.bedrooms are ok, one is very small. Rishi responded right away when we couldn’t find dish washer capsules in the cabinet.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly. My friends and I had an amazing weekend here. We were celebrating our friends birthday and they kindly put up a banner and there was a cake as well which was such a kind gesture and really appreciated! The location is beautiful and if you get the chance the spa on site is well priced and very good!

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.
