Vacation rentals with lake access in Fairfield County

This is our second time renting this beautiful lakeside home and it was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. The kitchen was a dream, with all of the appliances and amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. The living room had so much seating and the fireplace made everything that much more cozy. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds with the best sheets and comforters. I think everyone was impressed with how well they slept. The owner was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We can't speak highly enough about this rental. Thank you !

Our stay at Shannon House for three nights during the holiday break was amazing. We truly enjoyed the house and the beautiful views of the lake. We only had a couple of questions, but Shannon's response was quick and helpful. We would definitely love to return to Candlewood in the future!

It’s almost hard to believe Lake Waccabuc is only 1 hr north of NYC! My family had a wonderful stay! It was not easy leaving. Thank you Patrick! Once you arrive here, you will NOT want to leave! A true gem. You will feel like you’re in Maine! The house is set in the woods surrounded by hemlocks and pine trees, with a perfect view of the lake! We saw bald eagles, swans, and blue herons. Loved the morning light and fog-listening to the songs of the birds and watching the sunset on the lake. Our family loved fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! The house is set on 4 acres- a fun and safe area to cycle, and take long walks. Close to Ridgefield, CT, Katonah and Bedford -only 15 min away! Patrick always responded to my questions within minutes and Jay, the house manager went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect!!!! My boys already have asked if we can come back and rent again! 🙏

We stayed at the Zen House last year and were delighted to repeat the experience. And will do so again on the next trip to Stamford.

Perfect stay!

Lovely stay over Christmas. Graciela was very quick to respond and helpful with allowing us to check in early. House had everything we needed to cook our christmas meal and entertain family. Only suggestion would be more seating in the living room and a coffee table. Beautiful spot and would highly recommend for anyone needing to stay in the area.

I was looking for a little peace and tranquility for New Years and this was absolutely perfect. It’s down a pretty big hill, but that really just adds to the feeling of privacy and being really immersed in the scenery. Sleeping in the front room and waking up with the sun beaming in over the lake, there’s really nothing like it. Honestly, this place may have to become a yearly tradition, couldn’t have enjoyed myself more.

Ideally located for my needs while also being quiet and secluded. The space was a great place for me to work remotely for a few days while I visited with old friends in the area. A cozy location with excellent amenities and high-speed WiFi. What else do you need!? Will likely book again.

This place is near highways that will take you to New York or New Haven or close enough to public transportation to commute if necessary. There are plenty of restaurant options, but it's also very private and quiet, perfect for a good night's rest. The place was lovely, and I would choose to stay here again when I return to the area.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Pinar’s apartment over the Christmas holiday. The apartment is very modern and clean. The radiant heat kept it quite comfortable and I loved the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Lots of bird activity in the mornings!

Special place! Everything we needed had been thought about before hand by the host. The house and especially the main room is very wonderful, big windows framing a gorgeous lake view. Thanks so much for everything, definitely one of my favorite Airbnb rentals.

Peaceful, serene lake house. Loved sitting by the dock and people watching. Comfy, cozy rooms and inviting living room with a huge tv to enjoy movie night and hangout. Many different deck areas make the house more fun. Driveway has minimal space so need to be mindful of how many cars you are taking (fits 2 comfortably and 3 if the neighbor doesn't park too close to your driveway)

Sweet Dotties Cottage was better than expected. It was right on the water and even had a dock for our boat. It was very clean and exactly as described. The screened in porch was great at night. I highly recommend and will be visiting this property again.

Christienne was very responsive and helpful, the house was just as described and the location was so peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately I had to shorten my stay but I would absolutely be back if the opportunity presents itself.
