Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fairfield

We had a wonderful stay. The house is pretty and had all the charm of an older Berkeley home while still being clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The house is surrounded by redwood trees and a block from a beautiful rose garden and fantastic children’s park. It is also in walking (or short driving) distance from great restaurants, coffee shops, and stores on Solano. While very central, the neighborhood is also peaceful and quiet. The owners were responsive and easy to coordinate with. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

Great amenities and fully stocked with essentials. The chill of the basement was balanced with lots of blankets, a bed warmer, and a space heater. Responsive and flexible host, and spacious, quiet accommodations. I was able to work remote, watch tv, eat, and sleep in the same space without clutter. I walked to campus, took bay wheels, and Lyfts from here all with ease, however it can be a longer walk to campus. Would recommend!

Many trips to Sonoma wine country but first time in Glen Ellen. Short drive to all the wineries including Healdsburg, Geyserville, etc. Private home in relatively quiet neighborhood and had all the amenities. We stayed in the 2nd bedroom which is an addition to the original home but you really can't tell. Both bedrooms were spacious and also private from the other bedroom. Hot tub was enjoyable. We did not have a TV in bedrooms which we prefer to go to sleep to but actually enjoyed the quiet after the first few days. Kitchen is well stocked for what we needed. At dinner at home a couple of times and everything worked great, including grill. Never used the pool table in game room but room was nice. Mia was fantastic! Any questions she responded within 10-15 minutes. The steps to get into the hot tub were missing and she had new steps delivered the next day. Definitely worth going back!

My adult siblings and I are originally from the area, and needed to visit a local loved one at a challenging time. Maggie’s home was just perfect: beautiful, spacious, gracious and easy to access — and so peaceful and quiet, perfect for our needs. A real sanctuary. We stocked up on groceries from local luxurious organic market the Good Earth and cooked and ate all of our meals in the peaceful, beautiful, calm environment. (Kitchen had good pots and pans, too!) Really ideal.

Carrie’s place was perfect for us! It accommodated 3 couples comfortably! Each room was spacious and clean! We enjoyed staying here and would stay here again! The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe enough! The only other thing I would note is that there is a train close by and it was running throughout the night so if you’re a light sleeper be aware of that although it didn’t bother any of us! Carrie gave clear instructions on how to get inside but we had issues with the keypad just because it’s touch screen and you can’t tell if you’re pressing the button or not. But we were able to figure it out! The house itself was clean! And it was conveniently located for a wedding we attended. Only 45 minutes from Sacramento airport! We would stay here again!

Kit's place is fantastic in terms of location, accommodation, and value! The host is friendly and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. While we encountered an issue with the dishwasher during our stay, Kit worked to resolve it. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back with my family.

This house was perfect for our weekend stay for a wedding banquet. There were five of us, two couples and a single. Everyone had a comfy bed. Veronica was quick to answer all questions and was helpful with special requests. The house is a short walk to 24th Street, where most restaurants and shops are. It is hilly and quite steep, but well worth the hike. FYI, there are quite a few steps to the front door from street level, which are pretty steep if you have mobility issues. The house is clean and comfortable. Thank you, Veronica, for a great stay!

Great location and neighborhood! Robert had it decorated for the holidays which was wonderful! In places it was a bit tight as there was quite a bit of furniture. There are lots of things in the kitchen, almost too much for me. It could use a good go-through in terms of spices, etc. A few more available drawers would be great.

There is a reason that we keep coming back to Heather's place - it's great! Location is perfect if you want to be near Cal. It's close, but on a quiet street. Photos/description of the unit are exactly spot on. Everything is in working order. Place is clean and quiet. Heather is great to work with. We will be back soon!

This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet area of San Francisco. Peter is an excellent host. He had thought of every detail to make us welcome and to provide anything we might need in the apartment - related to the kitchen, bath, living room, etc. We felt very comfortable through the entire visit. I would be happy to come back!

We are so grateful for our stay, it worked great for us and our pets. It was very comfortable and had all we needed. The stairs to the location are quite steep, which made it a little more challenging, but elsewise, the surrounding area is lovely with easy freeway access. Ottoline was great at communication.

Renzo’s professionalism and quick response to all my questions made my trip much easier and enjoyable. I had a special request and he fulfilled my request not because he had to but because he wanted to. The home itself was amazing!!! Let’s put emphasis on CLEAN AND COZY!!!! I felt at home. We stayed at Heidi's place a few years ago for a week or so when visiting Oakland, and happily chose the same place when we wanted to be back in town for close to a month.

The house was perfect for us. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Very close to hiking and a short drive for day trips to wine country and exploring cities and beaches. Annie was a great host. Checking in was very easy and she was available for anything we needed. I'd look forward to staying in her home on future trips.

This was our second stay and it was just as comfortable as the first. You are walking distance to downtown and there are tons of options for eating and drinking. Debra is very easy to deal with and suite is the perfect little getaway. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality ✨

Our stay was super peaceful and quiet! The pool was great and Jason even worked around us to clean the pool so that it was nice for our stay.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! It had everything we needed and more. Communication with the host was amazing, and the access instructions were super clear and easy to follow. We loved making use of the various games, especially the pool and ping pong table. The BBQ grill was spotless and ready to go with extra propane tanks, which was a thoughtful touch. The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper, detergent pods, and everything else we could need. The surround sound setup with Bluetooth was a great addition and easy to use, adding to the overall experience. The house was impeccably clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the high-end appliances were a breeze to use. The kitchen was fully equipped, complete with both indoor and outdoor plates, making meal prep and dining a breeze. Our family truly felt at home while also enjoying the luxurious feel of a 5-star hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

We had a delightful stay at this charming Napa home, near downtown, which comfortably accommodated our family of four, along with our in-laws and sibling. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals on two evenings, providing all the necessary tools for cooking. The backyard was a highlight; even during our winter visit, it was enjoyable, and we can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the summer. Upon check-in, we were greeted by a host who provided a comprehensive overview of the house rules. While there were many guidelines, this thorough introduction made it easier for us to navigate the property during our stay. Overall, this home offered a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our family gathering.

Amazing Airbnb, loved the space. My friends and I enjoyed our wine country getaway very much. We loved visiting Napa but couldn’t wait to come back to the hot tub at the Airbnb. It really is a great space for a big group!

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Amenities and supplies were as described, and the house had a very open, relaxing and warm flow to it. Great family trip especially with the heated pool in winter! Gina was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions ahead of and during our stay.

Perfect weekend stay! We were in town for a weekend of wine tasting. This home is nestled in the hills and is in the perfect spot to visit both Sonoma and Napa. We almost regretted our wine reservations as we wanted to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful location. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook. The two master bedrooms were perfect for our group of 3 and would be perfect for two couples. Ray is a great host and very thorough in his instructions/responses. We hope to be able to stay again :)

Wow, what an amazing time we had at Geraldine and Joe’s place! The location was ideal for a small family gathering - close enough to amenities and activities, yet far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Geraldine is incredibly sweet and caring and makes you feel like part of the family. The house was perfectly laid out for our group of 3 couples and 2 small kids - we each got our own private area with bathroom and rarely heard each other. The deck is expansive, well furnished and fenced - super handy for dogs and mobile little ones! We loved lounging and listening to the birds. We would love to stay again! Thank you!
