Cottage vacation rentals in Fair Haven

Diane and Mark are fantastic hosts. This was our second time staying at the cottage and it was just as lovely as the first! We were so excited to return for another short overnight stay as a brief reprieve from urban life. Highly recommend visiting in the winter months to experience the full extent of the cottage’s cozy, relaxed charm. The hot tub and the wood burning fire were our favorite amenities. Be mindful that the beautiful front bedroom on the first floor is on its own thermostat and will need to be turned on to get heat in there, especially if you close the door. I hope to return again in with friends and family in the near future when in need of a peaceful retreat!

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

The house was in a nice area and was very clean. Host was very helpful and quick with his responses. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

This house is beautiful, and the layout is PERFECT for a group to spend an evening, or even an entire snowed-in day! I was so relieved to find that the hot tub was fully-functional--every jet, every button. That's less common than you might think in rentals. Such a great location, too. Far enough outside of town for beauty and privacy; near enough for quick runs into town. Not a single issue with anything the entire weekend, and it was just so comfortable to gather upstairs or downstairs. We'll all be looking forward to a repeat weekend.

Perfect location on the lake. Beautiful cabin with plenty of space for all four of us adults. I would 100% recommend this location especially in the summer when you can use the kayaks (it was a little cold this time of year for us). Host was quick to respond and super helpful! Thank you!!!

Spent Thanksgiving at the lake with family. We had a great time gathering, cooking, and hanging out. Even though it was cold outside, the view was amazing and we had a fantastic time.

We had a great time here! The house is clean, cozy, and has everything you need! The area is absolutely beautiful and we saw some great sunsets every night.

We were fortunate to stay at Kimberly's place on Otisco. Their home was small and cozy, exactly what we needed for a simple ice fishing weekend. We could easily walk out onto the ice and had a super clean, warm home to come back to. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do a little fishing in the winter. Kimberly was also super responsive and friendly when texting-- you can tell she puts a lot of effort into this whole deal. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

great place. my kids loved the house and especially the games and whatnot that are part of the rv park (right behind the house and included) The hosts were great and responsive. They went out of their way to make our stay fun.

Wonderful little cottage with easy access to the river. The local town was a 2 minute drive away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely return when in the area again.

Place is described exactly as Vic says. The small bathroom will be an issue for someone over 6' tall. There is only one dresser, but there are plenty of hangers and places to hang things. The sunsets are fantastic. We got very acclimated to the place very quickly. It was enjoyable sitting on the deck and watching the world go by very slowly. Lots of birds were around on the lake and nearby. Visiting Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge is a must. The Aurora Inn walk was great and the Aurora farmers market is fun. Enjoy !!

Very clean and cozy camp at the lake. Bonnie was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. The place was well stocked and the views are amazing! It was a little chilly in the bathroom but we understand that it’s a seasonal home. We would probably stay here again.

this cabin has all the home feels of a much loved family treasure. it was special for them to have it available for guests. we had a patch of perfect weather so the views were stunning. the small bay was very safe for kayaking.

Cozy place with an amazing lake front view in a private tucked away location that's just minutes away from popular chain stores for some quick last min shopping if needed. Great spot for a quick weekend getaway with an amazing host by the name of Philip who was very accommodating throughout our stay.
