Our stay was very nice. The place is cozy and matched the description very well. Communication with the host was easy and check in was smooth and flexible. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Lohja!

Thank you for the lovely stay. We were four adults and enjoyed our stay in this quiet place. The cottage has a nice little terrace that it perfect for breakfasts and dinners. The sauna is good and you can have a swim in the lake. The hosts are staying in the main house just next to the cottage. Car is a must since the place is in the countryside. There are plenty of nice places around to visit during the days. Recommended!

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

This place was amazing, great view, cozy place with nobody nearby to bother you, very peaceful and lovely place, would recommend 10/10!

We have really enjoyed our stay. It’s so peaceful and cosy and the surroundings are beautiful!! It really is an escape from the everyday grind which everyone should experience!! It helps you to slow down and appreciate the important things in life! Thank you so much for having us

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. The apartment was very cozy and the nearby lake perfect for cooling off after the sauna. The apartment is heated with air conditioning, so there is a certain noise level in the living room, but we got used to it over time. In the bedroom, the air conditioning can't be heard. There is always a very pleasant temperature in the apartment.

Our stay by the sea at Johanna’s place was just what our family (4 adults and two teens) needed for our first week in Finland. We enjoyed sauna each evening and beautiful scenery and sunsets. The swimming was wonderful and as it was August, we swam with the jelly fish ( a first for us)! Johanna is an excellent host, very communicative and helpful. I recommend you bring sweaters and warm socks for the evenings. Know that it’s a good drive from the city if you plan to do much exploring, but it’s worth the experience. Magic in the woods it was! Hi! We had a great stay at villa! Antti was super friendly and good host. We thought that the beach would be more closer to the villa, so that was the only thing that we did not know before booking!
