Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Evansville

We stayed there over Valentine’s Day and Randy made everything extremely easy and smooth during check-in. His home was beautiful and made for the perfect night for my girlfriend and I. Would recommend!

Such a nice little getaway with close family friends, very secluded and comfortable. Really enjoyed a great functioning kitchen, big screen tv and a washer and dryer!

This is our 2nd time at Vicki's and it was once again a very lovely stay. The place is so spacious and comfortable for our family. We've stayed in many different homes in the area before, and Vicki's is by far our favorite to stay at. Vicki is also very responsive and friendly. Always greeting you upon arriving and also went above and beyond to make sure we had enough toys available for the kids. We hope to stay again during our next visit to Southern Indiana.

Our stay at the Hobbit House was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care went into curating each room. Every space had its own unique vibe—whether we wanted to relax, feel inspired, or just have fun. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, making it easy to unwind, and the location was great for exploring Evansville. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a cozy, fun, and well-designed place to stay, this is it! We’d definitely come back.

The home was warm and beautiful. A lot of thought and care was put into the decor. It had everything we needed for our family. The kids loved the upstairs and the gaming space. Would stay here again.

We were looking for a place to stay that was close to Deaconess, and let me say this is about as close as you can get! We were within 2 blocks of the hospital. It was perfect for what we needed AND it was super reasonably priced. We thought about a hotel at first but it would’ve been further away and much more expensive. Then we found this property, and it was exactly what we needed. Also it was very spacious and super clean, which were big pluses for us. Will definitely stay here again if we need!

John was very friendly and helpful. He met us and showed us how to get into the room. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to see nearby. The room was very clean and cozy. The bathroom is a little bit cramped, but there is another sink in the bedroom area, and another mirror as well. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker. We felt very safe, and had no trouble parking on the street. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. The river is also within walking distance. There are many beautiful Victorian homes in the neighborhood. Evansville is a great city to explore, and we definitely recommend Jon’s place.

This is one of those rare finds that far exceed the pictures and description. Kristen’s place is such a gem in one of the most beautiful spots in Evansville. Every square inch exudes historic charm and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Kristen thought of everything and was incredibly proactive and responsive before/during/after our stay. If we ever make it back to Evansville, we’ll most definitely stay here.

I left my flat iron there on accident, but luckily my MIL lives close & was able to retrieve it for me. They were so nice & understanding. Apartment was perfection. Every little detail was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again!

This Charming two room apartment is in a lovely Victorian neighborhood with plenty of great walkable restaurants and several attractions. We couldn't have picked a better location and the hosts were always right on top of things answering questions or providing recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again

Nikki and Lori were excellent hosts! We were in town for my daughter’s volleyball tournament, and the place was so cute and just perfect for what we needed. Communication was easy and they were friendly and funny, so it made for a very pleasant weekend! Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 1/2 months at the Flats of Keystone. The area is well situated - close to shops, sports complex, gym and restaurants. The flat was great - plenty of room to move around, furniture was comfortable and it was super clean. Kellie was really helpful and always quickly responded to any questions we had. The neighborhood is easily walkable, and I enjoyed walking at the sports complex. I highly recommend the Flats at Keystone - you will not be disappointed!

The Flats are incredibly comfortable and very clean! The hosts and property managers are very responsive and helpful. We’re short term renting due to local storm damage and they’ve made this process so much easier on us. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfy and there’s plenty of space to spread out. I highly suggest staying at the Flats, whether it’s a few nights or a few months!

The fireplace was very effective and inviting, especially with the cold temperatures. Bed and linens were comfortable and luxurious. The hosts were responsive with communication.

Great place loved the area but that particular unit right on busy street. The unit very clean very nice!! Would go again! Maybe different unit
