Vacation rentals in Eureka

I have stayed at a different property of Shaun’s before so I was expecting a cozy, well kept little space which is exactly what I got. He was very accommodating of my last minute reservation and was quick to respond when I had questions during my stay. This is a super comfy spot with an amazing tub, but you should be aware this is the only shower and it could be challenging for people with mobility issues. It’s private and still close to everything. I would definitely recommend especially for a romantic getaway!

This was one of my favorite stays. The space was very comfortable, clean, inviting and private. Loved the neighborhood, great place to take a walk. Sarah was a great host, very nice but also allowed for privacy. This was a working trip for me and the apartment has a couple places to set up for a work space. Kitchen was nicely appointed, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spotless. I highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again.

Eric’s place was perfect for our visit. It was comfortable, clean, and in a perfect location for what we were doing in Arcata.

Is it fancy? No. But it is reasonably priced, in a convenient location, has a great hot tub, and a wonderful host.

This home is a gem. Warm, artistic, comfortable, supurb home. Lush landscaping, large deck, privacy fence, golden soft lighting. The glass mosaics are remarkable. Such a quiet neighborhood.

Shannon was super helpful in moving us to another room after a last minute change in travel plans. The grounds and baths were amazing and the hideaway room is perfectly tucked away - great experience overall!

Philip is friendly and his place is just right for us. We could walk to the park or just around the neighborhood or take a quick trip to downtown or Henderson Center for restaurants or supplies.

This is our 3rd stay and my husband’s favorite dwelling in Arcata. The hospitality extended is warm and welcoming. Great views . Close to the community forest. Walkable any time of day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Erik’s. He was very responsive with the few questions we had. The air hockey and foosball tables were an absolute hit with our kids!

This is our 2nd visit to Lala’s house and we were so impressed. Lala has thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen to the raincoats and cooler for picnics, we had everything needed to make my family’s stay comfortable. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes from the redwoods which is my favorite place on earth ❤️ Lala communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be staying at this home again, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family and I enjoyed our Christmas vacation. It was a home away from home. I was raised in the same neighborhood, so there was no need for recommendations. We will definitely be back in 2025. Thank you for your hospitality.

Erin was a great communicator so I had no trouble finding the house or where to park. The private gated yard was fantastic for my dog. It was raining my whole stay so I appreciated the wood chips in the yard so that my dog's feet didn't get too muddy each time she went in and out and also I loved the covered porch from which I could watch the dog in the yard without getting soaked. The fencing around the yard was strong enough and high enough even for my big escape artist dog. Inside was very cute and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of open space to set my dog's crate up. The shower had a strong stream of hot water. I loved the convenience of the washing machine and dryer. There was a full size refrigerator and stove to make meal preparation easy. There is a trail along Jane's Creek at the end of the road that is a beautiful place to walk! Great place!

Great and comfortable stay! We loved our time here and had fun touring the college and seeing the redwoods. House is beautiful and homey. It was a little cold in the bedrooms (used the extra comforter in closet) but the heater worked wonderfully in the main room. I loved the decor, wood and green accents. Very easy to drive to! One suggestion is a book of favorite restaurants or more info on the area but fun nature guides were provided (we added our Redwoods map to the collection). Thank you for a great place!

Beth’s was the perfect place for me and my friends to stay for a night. It was clean, nicely decorated and in a remote area. The beds were super comfortable and the backyard was spacious with some good seating options. Would definitely recommend Beth’s place and would rent again.

This place was great for a getaway in Eureka. It's got a great yard and very easily accessible to all you would want in Eureka. Very cute, cozy stay!

Cody was quick to respond. While working out of town, I extended my stay a few days in a row. Cody was accommodating and our stay went smoothly.

Loved it here. What a sanctuary! Very, very private. The yards are gorgeously landscaped - wonderful to sit by the fountain and pond and listen to the water trickling and the sounds of wildlife. The side yard was great for our pup, and both yards are fully fenced. Inside, everything is sparkling clean, comfortable and stylish with nice furnishings. The kitchen has high quality appliances, cookware, and a nicely stocked pantry with basics and extras. The location is great for access to the parks, and the neighborhood is quiet. Very low traffic and sidewalks for dog walking down to the river paths. The icing on the cake is the sauna. Now I need one at home.

Amber was very nice, responsive, accommodating to our needs. The house is beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable for us and we all had great sleep. The area is peaceful. Definitely recommend!

Came up from the Bay Area to see the redwoods and I am so glad I chose to stay here. This place was a great and comfortable stay for my family and I. It is well maintained and I can tell the place is made with love. Thank you Zack and Caroline for the amazing stay!

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful craftsman style home. The location was perfect and within a 5 minute walk to the very charming business district in Ferndale with great eateries and amazing local stores. The house was very well maintained and had everything you could possibly need, including a Keurig coffee maker with various pods with creamer in the refrigerator and a spice rack with any spice you could need. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and having a TV in the living room and each bedroom allowed all of us to watch exactly what we wanted. There were extra blankets in each bedroom and the beds were very comfortable. I often have trouble sleeping while traveling and slept like a baby. A must is having lunch or dinner at Tuyas...the food was fantastic, Heart & Soul for baked goods and the Farmer's Daughter for ice cream & gifts. The host, Denise, was very responsive and I would HIGHLY recommend this rental if you plan on visiting Ferndale.
