Amazing stay – would highly recommend! We were a group of 13 friends who spent a weekend at this great cabin and we could not have been happier! The cabin is located in a lovely surroundings and has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It was both spacious and well equipped, and we felt immediately at home. Communication with the host was exceptional – prompt, accommodating and very helpful. We especially appreciated the flexibility with both early check in and late check out which made the stay even more relaxing. All in all an absolutely fantastic experience and we highly recommend this cabin! We would gladly came back.

Tucked into the heart of Norway’s island beauty, this spot feels like it was crafted with a poet’s touch and an architect’s precision. It’s airy, flooded with light, modern yet cozy. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the waterfront like a living canvas, inviting the Norwegian skaergaard right into your living room. The kitchen is sharp, practical—a true haven for anyone who values a well-prepped meal. And then there’s the jetty out front, where you can sit back, sip something strong, and lose yourself in the stillness of this place. Centrally located for a business traveler yet worlds away in spirit. If I could double the star rating, I would. Else, the host, is a gem—flexible, communicative, and downright pleasant. Thanks for the opportunity to experience your boathouse.

Second time staying at this place, hope we will come back

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 5 to hike trolltunga. Comfortable stay for all of us having everything we needed. Place was in a great location for the hike. There are plenty of options for restaurants nearby in Odda. The view from the front porch was great to wake up to.

Right by gorgeous Åkrasanden beach, this place is a cosy, warm and welcoming homebase to explore all the sights in the region, while meditating looking at the water right from the porch. Incredibly warm host as well. Saving this place for my next stay!

We had a great time in Ann-Kristin and Laila's cabin. They had made it incredibly cozy by decorating for Christmas with lights and Christmas trees. The cabin was also clean and prepared for our visit. The location is amazing and it was easy to find. The hosts were very easy to deal with and responded quickly. I can highly recommend this place.

Large house in old wooden house buildings, exciting to see the craftsmen's challenges being solved, especially with the roofs. Everything was clean and nice. Thank you so much for us, we had a lot of fun:) thank you so much.

The remote fjord's end location was stunning. Our modern, airy boathouse, with its numerous windows and skylights, filled with light was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and convenient. Despite a power outage caused by a storm after our first night, the four of us stayed comfortable and thanks to Julian's updates and instructions we well managed. Easy access from Bergen. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.
