Very nice for a stay with friends with 2 large open rooms including the friendly dorm room! Well equipped and cozy

Close to the United States so fresh if they have made For the Milky Way chalet, I was expecting this theme inside too. But too much decoration that has no relation, rooster, wolf, butterfly, etc. On the other hand in the spas, the view, the sky that really represented the name of the cottage. Would I go back? Yes, without hesitation. For the price it's worth it. The beach not far away is a plus;-). I loved my stay;-)

The chalet was perfect it was clean and the property was beautiful the host was exceptional great place to go looking forward to going back !

Our Valentine’s weekend took an unexpected turn when our original Airbnb canceled on us after check-in, leaving us stranded. But thanks to Airbnb’s support team, we found Chalet La-Berge Du Lac—and oh my god, were we lucky! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The chalet is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The jacuzzi was simply amazing, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Though it was winter and the lake was frozen, we could see they offer kayaks, outdoor activities, and even ice fishing—which I wish I had known about earlier! The place has everything you need—a spacious layout, plenty of amenities like a BBQ, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, and so much more. The hosts were exceptional—super friendly and always available whenever we had a question. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. We will definitely be back!!

Clean cabin in a beautiful wooded area. Exactly what expected. Still, a little pricey for what it is but we knew beforehand.

Owner is very friendly and clearly cares about the site a lot - asking for constructive feedback and chat with us before we depart. The view in autumn is stunning near the site, highly recommend. Only thing is to not arrive too late at night (don’t be like me lol) since it’s hard to notice the signs some times in midnight

Very Nice Cabin in the woods, the screened in porch with the swings was perfect to keep the bugs out while enjoying the peaceful outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped and the fireplaces are stocked and ready to be used with wood and newspaper which was a nice touch. Great trails and hikes on the vertendre domaine lovely scenery around the lake. Will def re-book!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.

Very nice experience for 4 in Quintessence. Although the place was small (as clearly stated in the instructions), we really had a good time and the two double beds were very comfortable. Very quick host in response time, nothing to repeat. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay. Loved the Zoobox and it’s many smart design details, which create both a minimalistic space yet is very functional. Lovely setting, we will definitely come again!

Absolutely perfect place for families with kids of all ages! Our chalet was a bit far (25-30 mins walk to main entrance where the lake/beach was) I have 4 children so the 2 youngest was a bit tough to convince to walk by themselves the whole way. Besides that, the whole chalet was a big hit! My children enjoyed every mins spent inside and outside the house. I personally loved the location and scenery. But wouldve loved some blinds, at least in the rooms, so that i couldve had one or 2 more hours sleep in the morning 😅

Words can't describe the incredible experience we had! As city dwellers, we were initially a bit apprehensive about the "eco" house aspect and the walk-to location. However, everything exceeded our expectations – so much so that this will become an annual tradition! The setting is truly magical. The cabin is cozy and luxurious, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The trails are breathtaking and easily accessible. The staff were exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Overall, it was a perfect stay. Thank you for having us! We will definitely be back next year.
