Family-friendly vacation rentals in Erie Canal

Lovely weekend getaway!! I booked this cabin as a Christmas gift for my mother and I. Unfortunately at the last minute I was not able to make it. My mother and Aunt were able to enjoy all that this peaceful cabin in the woods had to offer. It was clean, cozy and just as described. They loved all the little adirondack touches. It was well stocked and a great location. Chris was a excellent host. Very responsive to all requests and concerns. I look forward to booking agian for my husband and I in the future.

We had the perfect stay at Beth’s for the weekend. The house had everything we needed for 14 adults. Plenty of seating, large kitchen, and great sleeping arrangements. The view from the house is stunning. We enjoyed the hot tub and games provided. The house is in a nice area - quiet road, but not more than a 10 minute drive from the grocery store. We visited the Adirondack Winery that is a 2 minute drive (definitely walking distance in the warmer months). Beth was communicative and friendly. She gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area. Overall a great stay and would love to return during the summer to enjoy the perfect views of the Hudson River.

Great place, perfect for our family. House is in a great location and had everything we needed. And Pittsford is a cool little spot—easy to get to RIT and drive into the city. Thank you!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is amazing and cozy. If you’re coming in the winter bring warm clothes and if you like skiing there is a lot of places close by to ski Matt & Kristy have a nice manual that lists everything you can do They were also very responsive and friendly but also gave us a lot of privacy The lodge is very spacious as well Highly recommend this place!!

Amy is a fabulous host and Front and Center is a fabulous place to stay in Warsaw. Amy is friendly, responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Thank you Amy! Her place is clean, neat and tidy which makes for a warm and welcoming visit. If Front and Center is available on my next trip, I will definitely be staying again.

We only spent a few nights but wish we could have stayed longer. The house met or exceeded every expectation we had. Catharine was friendly and responsive, even made sure we had arrived safely. I specifically chose this house because the views of the lake and this house did not disappoint. Spectacular! The house is extremely clean, well appointed, and Catharine even had holiday decorations throughout (we rented for a long weekend just before Christmas. So many tasting room options, local dining options, and things to do in the Seneca Lake area. Looking forward to a return visit to this or one of Catharine’s other rentals in this same area. You won’t regret renting this cottage!

Beautiful home and amazing property! The house is incredible, and we especially enjoyed the views, peace, and quiet. When we had a minor problem related to the extreme cold, Rebekah responded immediately and came over to fix it within the hour even though it was right before the holiday. She was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We definitely recommend and will be staying here again whenever we are in the area!

Katya’s place was perfect for our large group. We relaxed on the deck, prepared meals in the kitchen, and were able to eat them together at the large dining table. Beds were comfortable. The walk to the SPAC was beautiful and manageable. Katya is a great communicator and helped us navigate several changes to our plans from the time of booking to our arrival; something we really appreciate.

Our stay with Emily exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect spot, close to everything one would need and want. Beautiful cabin with authentic Adirondack furniture in great location!

We had a lovely Labor Day weekend stay at Julie’s house. There was lots of space indoors and out. The hot tub, pool, fire pit, and grill were all put to good use and made our stay so homey and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools and appliances needed. The location is excellent with easy access to 87, SPAC, and the race track.

I don’t even know where to start. Super comfy, super clean, Richard and Susan really love their home and it shows. There’s a calmness and peacefulness as you walk in. My partner and I enjoyed this weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you Richard and Susan for allowing us to unwind this weekend!! I hope they will allow us to come back during the summer .. I plan on jumping in that pool!! Best wishes. Dominic and Carmencita

We spent a fabulous winter weekend with old friends. The place was perfect for getting out into the snow. We x-country skied on nearby BREIA trails and went sledding (tobogganing) right outside the door. The place is also perfect for staying in. Beautiful views and toasty hot tub made hanging out dreamy. Our party included 4 couples, 2 college-aged kids, and a 6 year old. We all had a nice plane to sleep and the house offered something for everyone (Pool table, Lego, board games, arcade) Highly recommend.

Our family stayed here right after Christmas & not only did the accommodations fit us perfectly, it was nice to be somewhere that was decorated for the holiday. The house was of course old, but that is part of the charm. The bathrooms were pristine & the grounds were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Martha!

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

I highly recommend Shawn’s home- it was beautiful and peaceful stay! The entire place was neat and tidy, everything was easy to find. Our group had a great time watching the birds outside of the windows and watches for other animals outside. We would definitely rent this home again. Shawn is a great host!

I went to Gina's because it's about a mile from the Rochester Curling Club where I was competing in a bonspiel. The space was super clean & had everything I needed. The neighborhood was super quiet - I came back to catch a nap a bit on Saturday afternoon & it was silent. Window coverings made it pretty dark in the middle of the day too. I would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended it to other out-of-town curlers!
