Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Emporia

We drove from IL and had an accident. The 9hr trip took 17 and we were STRESSED! As soon as I opened the door every bit of the days stress melted away! We felt right at home! And we slept like babies! I loved walking my dog in the morning on the property with some coffee! Perfect! Kathy was kind enough to let me put up a Christmas tree and I had everything for our family dinner! I am definitely hoping to stay again! Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home! We felt very blessed indeed! If I had one little thing to say in the con column would be, I have a very bad back, fused, I couldn't sit on the furniture in family room because it was so low to the ground. I solved the problem by bringing in the great bentwood rocker from porch put a pillow on it and I was perfect as I'm a rocker anyway! Thank you again for a vacation I never forget! We would recommend North Arrow to anyone!! 5 stars from us!!!

The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. Communication was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring my stay was comfortable from start to finish.

Penny's Place has to be one of Topeka's finest Airbnb locations! This was the perfect home away from home for a long-term stay. The house has a convenient office nook, with a spacious desk and large monitor, perfect for remote work. The bathrooms were large and clean, and the beds were soo luxurious (I took a picture of the mattress brand--they were that good!). The kitchen was spacious and stocked with every pan and utensil needed for home cooking. I appreciated how bright and sunny the house was; such an uplifting space to spend time in. The neighborhood is quiet and out of the way, so there is lots of privacy, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The house is conveniently located near Dillons and the highway, so while the house is a bit off the beaten path, we were never too far away from any one thing. Connor is a super responsive host, too, checking in when the power went out during a storm and later to make sure the house had enough supplies. We would 100% book again!

OUTSTANDING LOCATION and a true blessing for our pet companions. The fenced back yard was so nice for the humans who could let the dogs roam while we stayed toasty inside. We had a lovely, joyful holiday weekend in one of the great college towns in any state, so five stars all the way. Houlihan's in easy walking distance is a bonus.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Tapp's cozy, historic home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its unique character and warmth. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was welcoming and responsive. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable retreat.

Nicole, what a lovely home you have. It seems as though every detail was thought of when you designed this home. My family and I loved the space and comfort it brought during our stay. A lot of love was put into your home and it reflects thought out. The two living rooms +, the beds were comfortable… even the kids slept well. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare a meal or a feast…this is how well stocked this home is. We’ve voted as a family; our next extended-stay to Manhattan, we’re staying at your plc if available.

Very comfortable and well stocked house. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed. And the family enjoyed the pool table and Alexa music. The walk to the grocery was easy, and there is a running trail nearby for those who need to get outside. Excellent stay.

This is a must-stay, for sure! There are so many hidden gems in Topeka, I’m not sure why I keep getting surprised. My girlfriend and I found it very, VERY homey. The soft lighting around the fireplace really sets a mood, and the private patio/entrance was very handy! The bathroom may be a little small for tall people, but we loved how different it looked. With every place I stay in Topeka, I get a better idea of what kind of place we want to settle down in. This is truly a “home away from home” experience. Thank you!

I rented this for my step daughter and her husband as I was unable to accommodate them on their trip. I accidentally have my step daughter the wrong code and Neil was so quick to respond and help them get in. They loved staying here!

Amazing space, loved the high ceilings and their renovation was impeccable. Spot is conveniently located to everything in downtown Council Grove. Would absolutely recommend this home away from home to anyone! Truly gorgeous. Nicky was easy to communicate with!

Really enjoyed our stay while visiting our daughter at K State. Easy walk to campus and Aggieville. Good neighborhood and apartment was well set up. Only complaint was the beds were a bit hard. Communication was fantastic and they even looked for a necklace I realized I lost after leaving and contacted me when they found it. We will be back!
