You are less than 5 minutes away from the famous Das Dutchman Essenhaus restaurant; 10 minutes from world renowned Shipshewana where there are shops, restaurants, the well known Flea Market and Blue Gate Theatre; 15 minutes to the Bonneyville Mill Park where you can watch the old fashioned grinding and enjoy hiking and lovely scenery. The Pumpkinvine Trails is only about 1 mile away where you can take a relaxing walk/bike-ride through the countryside. Nappanee has additional Amish culture with shopping, theatre, and dining. Retreat and unplug in a quite country neighborhood in the heart of Amish country. The covered porch overlooks a farm and you can see a great sunset and often wildlife as well. The apartment itself is a walkout basement with a front entrance and large windows overlooking the farm and field across the road. Stay in our redecorated entire upstairs level with pass-coded private entry to come and go as you please. Queen bed in the primary bedroom, a double in the second bedroom. (2 cots can be set up for any youth). Full bath with tub and shower, TV room with Kuerig, microwave, mini frig, and back wood’s view. Relax on front porch. Short walk to Fairgrounds and Pumpkin Vine trail. Close by places to eat. Notre Dame is 45 mins away. Shipshewana -40 mins. 60 miles to Lake MI. 3 hr drive to Chicago.

Great country setting but close to everything. 2.5 miles from Abshire Park where you can park your vehicle to walk or Bike on the Pumpkinvine Trail. 6 person hot tub for your enjoyment. We live next door on the property as well so if you need anything we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Enjoy the privacy of the large lower level suite in a quiet neighborhood. We are within walking distance of Goshen College, Greencroft, a Vietnamese restaurant, and a great deli. A 45 min drive to Notre Dame, 20 min to Middlebury, 25 to Nappanee, 25 min to Shipshewana. All local tourist places. A few min from historic downtown Goshen with unique restaurants, breweries, and shops.
