A fantastic location with rolling countryside and scenic views all around. The hot tub was fantastic and great for relaxing in after a day of exploring. Debbie and Roger were friendly, helpful and excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Dawn was incredibly communicative and kind from the very start. I booked for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and everything was perfect. The attention to detail at the place was beautiful and it was amazing to hear of how it was Dawn's lockdown project, which she built herself. I had a special request to see if we could have some other family come for drinks one night after the birthday dinner and Dawn was very obliging, even giving us an extra table from her own home. Couldn't recommend Dawn's place enough - it's stunning and the hot tub was superb!

Peaceful and cosy (even in February!) close to Aberystwyth with other villages close by. We travelled in an EV and there a lots of chargers close by (InstaVolt) on the edge of Aberystwyth is the best bet. Sean and Sam gave us loads of recommendations for food and activities in the local area too.

Definitely worth staying!! It is beautiful, for homebodies like myself, it has some good Movies and games! For more active people, there are beautiful walls and sights!! Perfect for any type of person! Carolyn was amazing, whenever i needed help, she was there! Even if it was just a stupid question! Thank you very much, will definitely come back!!!

Absolutely beautiful stay at Apple Tree cottage. It was a perfect location, very private and peaceful. The entire cottage was spotless and the hot tub was a perfect addition, as well as the log fire. It’s the perfect getaway for a wholesome, relaxing weekend!

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay !! The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. There were plenty of snacks and homemade goodies to keep us going and fresh roses, prosecco and heart chocolates for Valentine’s Day which was a lovely touch. Can’t recommend them enough.

Soldiers cottage is a cute, cozy little cottage suitable for a single person or couple. The hot tub outside is covered and private. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Gina and her husband were both lovely and very welcoming. We had a great relaxing couples break here. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay at a very homely cottage

I had a great stay in this lovely, cosy cottage. I loved how close it was to the station for trips up and down the beautiful Cambrian Coast, and how quiet it was given its proximity to the town. Being in a pedestrian area full of steps probably helped! I would absolutely come back if I am in Barmouth again.

Dear Emma and Andrew Thanking you so much for our stay at your beautiful Lock House, it was just the therapy needed at a very difficult time for my elderly mum. The location is idyllic, we loved hearing the new born lambs and watching them bounce around the field in the sunshine. We even had a visit from a gorgeous swan! Lock House is immaculate inside and out, a real home from home. So clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped with lots of thoughtful extra touches including the welcome pack and fresh flowers on our arrival. We had a really wonderful restful break and we hope to return again in the future.

Rachel gave clear and helpful instructions and a warm, friendly welcome. Wisteria cottage is beautifully fitted, clean, cosy, comfortable and much bigger than it looks from the outside. A pretty, private, warm cottage. Well equipped and situated within easy drive to both Oswestry and Shrewsbury. We had a lovely, relaxing short break and would certainly rebook. Many thanks, Rachel. The cottage was very cosy and comfy and Lucy had thought of everything, from tea towels and handwash to a slow cooker and cafetière. The village has everything you need and there are lots of walking routes. Parking is tight but didn’t cause us any problems. We would recommend Lucy’s lovely little cottage to anyone wanting a cosy and peaceful holiday by the gorgeous welsh coast. Thanks again Lucy, Nic, Sam & Otis 🐾

Perfect little cottage for our short notice stay. Lovely garden space and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and a shop with all you need. Great base for trips into Newquay and Aberaeron .

Amazing AirBnB. Beautiful panoramic window, all furnished well, super huge comfy bed, fantastic shower, Peter was hugely helpful and responded straight away when we couldn’t get the heating going, great dog walks, 4 miles to lovely Ludlow and a National Trust castle. Wow! Babbling Brook Cottage has been wonderful! A warm welcome from Tigs and Lesley with a welcome basket. It was my husband’s birthday and we really appreciated the birthday banners and card! Also beautifully crafted personalised slate coasters! The cottage is extremely comfortable, beds amazing! We really appreciated the log burner as very cold February evenings. Lush hot tub which was enjoyed both evenings at sunset with a glass of fizz! Fantastic private field and enclosed garden, perfect for our small dog. So very peaceful. We only wished we could have stayed longer! A massive thank you to our wonderful hosts! We loved our stay very much!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Carwyn and his dad were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a really lovely addition. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting family in the area.

We had a lovely week at The Bothy. A peaceful cottage in a wonderful location. Alicia is a great host - very welcoming and with lots of local information. The Bothy is well appointed and has everything you need. Pretty gardens at this time of year a sea of snowdrops. The local pub is a few minutes walk away and was great for supper. We also visited very good restaurants The Walnut Tree and The Black Bear who both serve superb food. Lots of local walks and charming towns and villages. A restful stay in a beautiful location.

Lovely place to stay, had everything we needed and felt right at home. Lovely to see the sea from the cottage, close to the beach and the next town. Lovely and clean. Brilliant host and super easy check in, would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne’s beautiful little cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—Anne had even lit the fire for our arrival. Her communication was proactive and very helpful, making everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—an easy walk into Ludlow, and just a short drive to the stunning Shropshire Hills for scenic walks. The cottage itself was well-equipped, dog-friendly, and had a lovely enclosed courtyard, so our dog could roam safely. A truly relaxing getaway—we’d love to return!

Gorgeous stay in Little pudding. Google maps took us right to it. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Felt as though we were the only people in the world when we were there. Easy to nip to Elan valley for a stunning walk. Cosy, warm and quaint. The perfect Valentine’s romantic get away.
