Cottage vacation rentals in El Mirador

We were 3 families with children aged 2-6 and we loved it… so much so that we are already thinking about returning. The house and the land are super spacious, ideal for groups. The games in the garden are amazing and the children had plenty to entertain themselves all weekend - trampoline, tree house, slackline with rings, zip line, climbing structure with tent, little house, sandbox, and a lot of toys inside. Not to mention they took their own eggs from the chicken coop to make an omelette. Thanks Laura, they were delicious! The house was clean and with everything you might need in a rural house and more. Everything was very comfortable. We were very comfortable and Laura responded quickly and very kindly to all our questions.

The taxi from the airport drove us straight to the address, so no problems there. I had forgotten to liaise with Maria regarding our arrival time so we had to wait to be let in! 🤦🏻‍♀️ The house was lovely along with the pool/jacuzzi & surrounding areas. It was clean with great air conditioning. Maria provided pool towels on request. Maria shows you all around and gives The necessary instructions, for the language barrier we used a translater app on our phone. We were a party of 10 so did not bother to hire a car. Maria gave us the local taxi number. The only comment/suggestion is… I know it’s self catering but I would of gladly paid for a welcome pack containing the essentials for example bread.milk.tea sugar.butter etc to get you by for the day of arrival. If the taxi is busy or the supermarket closed or you have a late flight you are going without. Nothing is within walking distance, though not far by car/taxi. All in all we loved it and would definitely recommend a stay

Large accommodation with everything you need for a short or long stay. Easy to park and terrace to enjoy sunny evenings. Pleasant exchanges with Cecilia with all the instructions needed to arrive serenely.

We had a great time at this villa - it is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Very comfortable with great facilities. The kitchen is well equipped, so it was easy to stay in and cook. The outdoor space is beautiful - nice swimming pool and summer kitchen with BBQ area! The villa is located 15 min drive from Cartagena and 10 min drive to the nearest beach. Restaurants and a supermarket are only 5 minute drive away. Angela and her husband was very nice and helpful.

We spent Christmas with family and the house allowed us to enjoy the good weather during the day (outdoor Christmas dinner) and gather around the fireplace at night for a game of Dixit. The views of the garden and the southern mountain range during sunset were spectacular. The children have enjoyed playing among the orange trees. The house was equipped with everything you need to cook and serve meals to a large group. The kitchen and bathrooms were renovated, the beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Cecilia was always attentive to our messages and made sure we didn't need anything. We'll be back for sure.

If you are looking for calm and connection with nature you will be in the right place…the house is lined with lemon trees, fig trees and palm trees. The photos don't necessarily showcase it: the rustic style is appreciated and offers a lot of charm. The house is spacious, comfortable, each adult room has a private bathroom. The kitchen is large and functional, although it lacks some cooking utensils. The appliances are outdated (plate too long to heat, old oven); on the other hand there is a washing machine and a dryer. The outside is very well maintained, the pool is beautiful. This house is a small oasis of peace. It's a little out of the way but you can reach the shops in 10 minutes by car. However, it takes about 30 minutes to reach the nearest beaches. It was a very nice experience, the host was very attentive and helped make our stay unforgettable.

Great place. Far from the neighbors, so even when you're balancing, it doesn't bother anyone. Getting there was good. We were waiting for us even though we were after midnight because the flight was late. The host was very kind and helpful - we had to go to the hospital and got full support - the lady went with us!! Nice, quiet neighborhood. Close to the sea. The house has absolutely everything you need! Fully equipped kitchen: plenty of plates, mugs, glasses, etc. Spices, coffee, tea sugar, olive oil, etc. We received scones, milk, and juice when we arrived, which was very useful due to the late arrival. It comes with everything: washing machine, dishwasher (and detergents for them!), microwave, coffee mocha, toaster or blender, etc. !!Very comfortable mattresses to sleep on!! Cotton and linen bedding! Very much space to sit outside. Pool is clean. Some kids toys, so they weren't bored. Overall, the trip was great. I recommend it with all my heart.

I organised a stag do to stay here, 12 guys, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The villa comfortably kept the 12 of us with plenty of great amenities to keep us entertained. We had music going through most of the day and night on the sound system and spent plenty time making noise and didn't seem to disturb anyone. It's a bit out the way in terms of travel but it is well situated; we organised private transport which was a must. Monica's communication was brilliant and she provided plenty of advice and ideas for our stay. Only slight criticism is that some of the decor and amenities are a bit tired and could do with some sprucing up. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay here again.

Amazing place to stay! We had the most beautiful view from our balcony. The house was very clean and neat and the expectations: amazing garden with a lot of different places to sit. Really recommend!

The house in the national park is beautifully located and very lovingly furnished inside and out. We love nature is the place to be. Olga responded quickly and reliably and we enjoyed the time very much as the weather was also great and the nights not too cold . Would recommend

If you are looking for peace and quiet to rest, this is the place! The house is very clean, very well equipped, nothing missing, the pool is very nice. We were pleasantly surprised because it's really better in reality than in the photo. The lady who welcomed us was very kind. The only negative point would be that there isn't too much activity in the evening to do close to the house, but otherwise it was really perfect. We'll come back if we have a chance. Thank you.

Perfect house for a weekend, we had a new year to get away from the city and be able to enjoy the tranquility and that's been the case. The bass neighbors are nice and respect the space and privacy. The house was clean and well equipped with everything necessary to be able to spend a few days. As for heating, we were afraid of being cold but not at all, the fireplace keeps the temperature of the house warm at all times. The outside is very nice with areas where to do barbecue and activities despite the dates and climates we could not take advantage of them as we would have liked. Regarding the landlord, Damian, he is a pleasant and attentive person from the first moment. He has been worried at all times about our comfort and making the stay a better place according to our needs. He has also been bothered to explain the operation of the premises of the home.

We went for a race on the Fortuna circuit and the location of the house was excellent. Very clean house with great condition. Pena we did not have time to enjoy the entire property, such as the pool and the excellent terrace you have to make grilled. Juanma was always very helpful and always answered our requests, such as checking out at 7:45 am because we had to go to the circuit. we will return for sure.

The cottage is a little paradise!! We had a very nice stay. The area is very beautiful and we were able to explore the walking and cycling paths along and around the river. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Alfonso was super responsive and communicative, and we enjoyed eating at some of the places that he recommended. All in all, a fabulous little break away, in a very lovely place! :)
