I had a wonderful time with Gladys and her daughter and the other guests. I highly recommend her house. The room I stayed in is equipped with a private bathroom + shower, a kitchen sink and stove, pots/pans/silverware etc., and a fridge which was all very useful. You pass through the living room and then another door to get to a private hallway and the entrance to the space so it feels very private (you can lock the door if you want). I got very sick 3 different times during my 2 months in Bolivia and Gladys looked after me bringing me medicine and powerade which was so sweet and kind. They also invited me to make and share lunch with them and the other guests on the weekends and showed me around the city. They will take you in as family. Wifi and amenities all work great. The only thing I did not realize before is that the house is located toward the top of a steep hill (about 30 minutes walking from lower Sopocachi). It is not a problem because walking is good exercise and if you are tired you can take a taxi but it is good to know. Overall, really recommend this place.

This was the perfect place for my month’s stay in La Paz as a traveling digital nomad. The apartment itself was very cozy, with all of the ammenities I needed including a washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cooking ware, etc. The location is great if you’re looking to avoid the madness and noise of the city center, not to mention the surrounding area was very safe and walkable. Paola was extremely kind and helpful, quick to respond and even gave me some recommendations for the local area. Highly recommend this high value Airbnb! 🙌

I love this place more and more every time I come back. Can’t beat the location, and great host.

My stay was great. The apartment has efficient radiators which is a real plus on cold nights with a temperature close to 0°, just like hot water (and not only warm). The bed is large and the mattress is of excellent quality. Within a 10-minute walk, very good restaurants, shopping mall, ATM, supermarket, grocery store, cinema, etc... in addition the host was very available and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The apartment has two apartments so it looks like a house. It has sauna, terrace and kitchen. The host was very friendly, I explained everything to myself. Highly recommended.
