Great place to stay for a little unplugged getaway. Since the place is a little remote, it was super convenient that the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with anything you might need. Even though the weather wasn't the best we still had a great time walking on the trails on the property, cooking dinner, and playing card games. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful weekend!

Very clean place and a great value. A/C kept the house at 66 degrees like we wanted. The host even let us have a checkout 2 1/2 later than normal. I definitely recommend this place.

The parking was very easy to handle. The interior of the building was very beautiful and very comfortable. It’s really big and contained various amenities that came in handy, especially when cooking. The location is next to railroad tracks, which made it difficult to fall asleep the first night but there are ear plugs to block out the sound. You will still feel the rattling of the walls as the train passes by. The location is a 20 minute drive to the national park so it was very ideal for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Angela was very responsive throughout our trip. She communicated a lot of information and even provided a tornado shelter for safety purposes during the big storm that hit Kentucky. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very memorable. We would stay here again!

Beth was amazing as a host. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and felt like home with some zest. The view out of the front large half round window was beautiful. Everything was within walking distance for our plans. We highly recommend this place and will visit again soon.

I thought it was a little bit expensive, but it was in a quiet area close to my temporary work location. I would stay again.

Kyla was a wonderful host and I would highly recommend staying with her if you are in the Horse Cave area.

Our stay at the Hotel Alexander could not have been better. The accommodations, location, and comfort were top notch. We are already planning a return trip!

Lovely house with a couple of little quirks. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There were plenty of beds for everyone, it was nice and clean, and there was everything we needed to cook meals. Plenty to do in the area if you're an outdoorsy type, just note that while Mammoth Cave park is right next door, the main entrance where the tours start is about 45 minutes away from the Nolan Lake area. Owners are very friendly and responsive. Overall a great experience!

What a wonderful house! Justin has thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is beautiful with decks and 2 fire pits. It is private and quiet and we would definitely recommend this home especially if you are coming with kids!

Beautiful home that fit my family well. The ping pong table and air hockey were a hit with the kids. Kitchen is gorgeous and the bathrooms are generous in size. Definitely well stocked with dishes, towels, soap, and other items. Host was very responsive to questions. Replied very quickly to all messages. Very clean for an outdoorsy tourist area. Was pleased to see not trace of pets upon our arrival as you never know with pet-friendly. No dog smell, residue, or yard presents. The home was a bit farther from Mammoth Cave than expected. Unfortunately, Nolin State Park was flooded so all close parks and trails were closed (not fault of host just heads up for travelers). An FYI if that's what's bringing you to the area.

The house was clean and inviting. Plenty of room for my kids and grand kids when they visited and the yard was perfect for our dog. I would suggest sharper knives I had to go buy a knife so we could cut our turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

We loved our stay! The house was in perfect condition. We enjoyed the screened in porch to most! The house was fully stocked and every imaginable thing that you might need was provided. Very easy, very clean, we felt at home. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a group of 13, gathering for Thanksgiving. The house was well appointed and the kitchen was perfect for large groups. The Blackstone was a great addition for cooking for a large group. We enjoyed all the features of the house. We did opt to pay an additional $250 for use of the hot tub. Unfortunately the temperatures dropped and we were only able to bear the cold for 15 minutes. The surrounding area was beautiful and serene. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
