Beautiful location, great value and very nice hosts!

We were in town for a swim meet. Perfect stay. Short drive to the pool, great sunrise view, able to cook and a washer dryer. Next time I would consider paying the small nominal fee for reserved parking. We found free parking 50 % of the time in the lot. If not we never had to park more than a block away. Will book again if our team returns next year.

Great place to operate out of for a fishing weekend.

My sister and I had a very restful time here. The place was spacious, with beautiful outdoor views. We were provided with everything we might need and more. I wish we had had more people with us to enjoy the many options available here for relaxing; sitting outside, watching movies, and enjoying evenings by the fireplace. Anne was very gracious and informative. We certainly felt right at home. I would recommend this to anyone who was visiting the area and wanted a secluded and beautiful space to share.

Had a lovely stay. Home is by the river with peaceful views. The New Year celebration was in the park and lots of fun. Kitchen had everything we needed and even some local coffee. Very comfortable bed. Don's Seafood restaurant is next door and food was outstanding. Very short 5 minutes to other shops and restaurants and the Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Vickie's place on Breton Bay! It is peaceful and private with stunning views! The place was comfortable, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. All of the thoughtful touches, extras, and amenities were a welcomed addition. We had everything we could possibly need and more--truly a home away from home. Vickie was very communicative throughout our stay and gave us lots of local recommendations and detailed instructions. We would highly recommend staying at this Airbnb! Great experience. VERY BEAUTIFUL view, peaceful setting, and friendly host. Skip also left thoughtful treats which made us feel special and welcomed right away. Only 15 minutes from Bethany beach and 5 minutes from the grocery store. What more could you want?

Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

Very nice stay! Tastefully decorated, beautiful location, well stocked kitchen supplies. It was a nice escape! Highly recommend coffee on the porch for sunrise! We had some members of our party who were acclimated to warmer weather, so an extra comforter or heavy blanket at night would be helpful. That being said, there were lots of throws available in the living room!

We stayed at Megan and Jim’s waterfront getaway for me and my partners birthday. We had our 4 friends join us and our furry family members! We had an absolute BLAST! It was the most peaceful and relaxing trip I’ve had in a very long time. I felt right at home, didn’t feel the need to constantly plan things. Time definitely slowed down and allowed us to really relax. We did a ton of fishing and crabbing at the house on their dock. The kitchen had every amenity you could think of. I didn’t need to ask for a single thing throughout the weekend! We took a charter boat to go on fishing trip one day. Get hooked charter fishing was so fun and SO CLOSE to this amazing property. We all were so sad to leave our last day. Highly recommend! We are already on planning another trip soon to stay again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This place is truly a hidden gem! I’ve stayed here twice now and plan to make it an annual tradition. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway with amazing views, pet friendly, a fishing pier, spacious lawn for games, a cozy fire pit, and a grill. The common living room is ideal for gaming and movie nights. Highly recommend!

Our family loved staying at this charming cottage on the river. The views are beautiful and very peaceful. Inside the cottage is everything you need for comfortable stay, the decor is tastefully and artfully done. Outside is equally enjoyable with fun and relaxation all around! Our family enjoyed the sunsets and the hammock. You truly feel on vacation here! So peacefuI, would recommend this location above staying in Norfolk or VA Beach to get the best of all worlds. Its an easy quick drive to Downtown Portsmouth and Norfolk. Virginia Beach was only 25-35 min using Midtown tunnel! We loved walking around the neighborhood everyone was so friendly. Portsmouth City park was easy for us to walk to and only a few minute drive by car. Truly one of our best airbnb experiences in the Hampton roads. We felt like we were able to take in not only the Elizabeth River views and tranquility, but also got to experience surrounding tidewater cities. Janine's cottage just shines!

Our family of 5 adults, 1 child and an infant had a lovely Thanksgiving visit to Karina's house in Scotland. The house was very spacious and comfortable for all. Our 5-yr old granddaughter was especially thrilled with 'her' room -- nicely decorated and quite suitable for her age. The other bedrooms had great mattresses (relatively new?) and the linens were all good quality. The kitchen had most of the items you'd need to make a big dinner and even bake. The location was very quiet and given the time of year, a peaceful retreat to simply enjoy the view of Tanner Creek. All in all it was a great spot for a family holiday gathering.

This was SUCH a beautiful property. The house, the lot, the dock, the water, the sun rises and sun sets—absolutely perfect for a relaxing girls’ trip. I will absolutely be back with other friends and with my family.

We had a wonderful time! The House was beautiful and had every amenity we needed and more!!! We loved being so close to the beach and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. Our family will definitely be coming back!

This is a great location if you have kids. I love the fact that there was baby gates for the porch and also there was kid friendly cups plates, and utensils. it’s very close to the beach and it’s a very quiet location on the bay. We would definitely stay here again. The house was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. I can’t say not one negative thing about our stay. We would definitely book here again.

Very comfortable condo for our visit to Ocean City. It was convenient and quiet and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the canal view and nice porch area, just wish it would have been warmer weather!

Mike’s beach house is perfect for a family or group trip. More than enough space to fit everyone and the location is amazing. You’re less than a 5min walk to the beach but also return to a quiet dock rental. It was so calm sitting on the porch each morning looking at the water. Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy the boardwalk and attractions when wanted. He’s super communicative as well. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this spot for a long weekend mid-winter getaway. It's exactly as pictured and described - beautiful, comfortable and spotless. We didn't get to use the balcony as it was too cold, but the view of the bay and docks is great. It's also convenient to everything. Would absolutely stay again.

Comfortable condo, easy distance from Williamsburg restoration.

This wasn't our first time at Stephanie's condo, and it won't be the last! It's clean, comfortable, quiet, and there's plenty of elbow room. Beautiful views right on the beach. Close to some of our favorite places to eat. Stephanie is a great host too!

This place was great for a little weekend get away. The place has a very homey feel. The location was great, nice and quiet. Brian was extremely responsive and friendly.
