Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East London

Veronica was an amazing host. I think she's just genuinely a good person so thst made her hosting even easier. She was patient, understanding and just kind. I was traveling from Joburg for my wedding and there's family that arrived the morning we checked out who needed a place to freshen up, and she was so understanding- and she didnt need to but she did. The place far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are huge! With great private space. The home was warm- it really felt like a home away from home. There is more tham 1 entertainment space and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, literally 5 minutes away from the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer there but this will definitely be the first place I think of next time I plan a trip to EL. Thank you Veronica, wishing you all the best. You are amazing and honest. I left my wedding ring there and you made sure I get it. There's so much more I could say, but just know that my "thank you" carries much more than those 2 words.

This is easily one of the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It is clean, beautifully furnished and has lovely local art pieces to capture the African spirit. The beach is only 2km away. Next time we are in South Africa, we would love to stay there again!

This was a great place to stay would highly recommend. Safe, clean, quiet environment. Theresa is very helpful and responsive. Clean, beautiful place, felt at home.Close to a mall and you can walk, run in the mornings and safe for solo female travellers.

Yoh, is an expression i can give. Such tranquility, no noise at night, clean place, wow, wow, wow, Nosisa wa fri3ndly, when we requested a late check out, she went an extra mile by allowing us to check out at 13:00, something most places do not allow lest they charge you extra, Nosisa, you were a great host and looking forward to visiting again. 👍

Oh my word, Kates house is beautiful, well kitted out, spotlessly clean. Luxurious but homely. Easy to walk to the beach. And the book collection! I could have stayed a month, reading all the fabulous books. I highly recommend staying at Kates house.

Shane is a friendly and great host. He responded quickly to requests and was very helpful. Will definitely go back, the place looks better than pictures.

We stayed the full month of November 2024 at the Aloe Pad. The apartment has a very well equipped kitchen. What we enjoyed is that there are TV's in both the lounge and bedroom areas, with access to DSTV, Netflix and YouTube. The bedroom is also fitted with an aircon for those hot summer nights. The bathroom is spacious and has a large shower that is fitted with a hand rail and seat, which makes it suitable for the elderly or anyone with a disability. Zane is an exceptional host and we highly recommend the Aloe Pad for a very comfortable and peaceful stay.

This place felt like a home away from home. Mike's hosting was top tier. Internet was good enough for me to connect for a full of working from home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Attention to detail was perfect, small things such as sauces in the fridge, salt and pepper for seasoning. These are added advantages that made you feel at home. Thank you Mike

We arrived quite a bit earlier than check in time, but were able to check in and drop our things before heading off to the beach. Absolutely beautiful view, sea on the 1 side, little mini waterfall on the other. Very peaceful and tranquil!

Such a beautiful, neat and cosy villa. My family and I had such a wonderful stay here. It’s 2 minute (safe) walk to the beach and close to such an amazing restaurant with the best freshly baked breads. Sonja’s parents were so friendly and accommodating - honestly one of my best airbnb experiences. I know exactly where to stay the next time I am back in East London again. Thank you Sonja!
