Vacation rentals with a fire pit in East Dorset District

The only thing I would have changed is to have stayed for more days, the house was beautiful and the pool table, darts and pool were great fun, our group was entertained for hours. Some problems occurred but nothing Andrew didn’t do his best to sort out, he is a very accommodating host and would love to stay again.

Great house, great location, cosy lounge and bedroom. Parking options are limited but to be expected on Portland, happy to reccomend and also stay again. Thank you Jane for the quick responses and help offered!

Luxurious property in a lovely, peaceful location. The host had thought of every little detail to make it a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The garden and countryside views are beautiful and it was so calming sitting on the deck by the stream. I will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at Club Casita, the view over Stanpit marshes is stunning, in January, you see the sun rise by the Isle of Wight travel over Hengistbury Head and set within the window viewport, and the wide variety of birdlife is beautiful to watch, like an animated painting. The lodge was very warm and cosy and had everything we needed, even a whirlpool bath! A freezer would have been useful for our longer stay but we managed fine without it. The beds were very comfy. Ample parking for 2 cars. It is a short (< 10 mins), flat walk along a picturesque riverside path to Christchurch where there is an M&S for groceries, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Our hosts, Candice and Dan were lovely and gave us a very warm welcome with a breakfast basket, festive decorations and a bottle of wine, and were very responsive to messages. Would definitely recommend Club Casita to family and friends!

A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

The house is beautiful and extremely well kept. Tim is a great host and we had everything we needed. Unlike a lot of Airbnbs, the house is very well stocked with cooking equipment and basics.

Felicity was a great host. Her home was spotless and comfy. Comfy beds, really clean kitchen, with all the utensils and cooking bits you need. Great location, very quiet but close to what we needed. Would 100% recommend!

Was the perfect place for our weekend away. Easy check in and not too far out of town. The hot tub was great too!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by our lovely hosts.. The location is fantastic with good restaurants, an incredible harbour and miles of white sandy beach within walking distance. The novelty of staying on Sandbanks added a unique interest .. we loved it 😊.. Thank you Madeleine, Michelle and Nick for your warm hospitality 😊 x

An amazing stay! Easy check in, felt really comfortable and cosy. David and Pamela are so helpful and friendly. Tonnes to do in Weymouth; we'll be returning to P&D's - definitely not just because of David's scrumptious homemade bread rolls and Pamela's delicious mulled wine! would recommend :) / have already recommended

We had a great stay and the hosts were so accommodating and flexible. The accommodation was really cosy and cute. We would love to stay again while in the Bournemouth area. Absolutely fab, thanks a million.

Ruth welcomed us when we arrived and then left us to have our own space whilst we were staying. There were logs in the fire stacked and ready to lit which made a lovely welcoming on a winters afternoon. The garden house felt cosy and comfortable, and was very easy for us bringing our dog as there is the beautiful garden and surrounding area to stroll around.

Chrissie's flat was very well designed with ample space and beautiful furniture all the way. She and other hosts made sure our toddler's needs were met and they were very responsive to our queries. It was a so good of a get away yet it almost completely felt at home. Thanks for everything and we will surely come back. Defne, Övgü, and Türker

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub was fantastic. The beds were so comfy (and I am super picky about this). The location was great, we had such a great stay, my daughter did not want to leave.

I spent Christmas at the Look Out Lodge and it was magical. The lodge was so cosy and very clean. The location was peaceful and the perfect little escape. It had absolutely everything you would need. Sitting in the hot tub right in the middle of nature was exactly what the doctor ordered! Debbie and her husband (didn’t catch his name) were super friendly and very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this accomodation highly enough!

A really comfortable cabin in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a family. Lots of extra special touches like digital radios in the bedrooms, a quooker hot water tap and very comfy bedding. There were plenty of garden toys to keep the children entertained alongside the vast amount of space they could run around in. Lovely well stocked fire pit area with lights for a cosy evening. A fantastic few nights away!

Absolutely beautiful place. Easy to find, great instructions by host. Lovely, quiet and private. The place itself was so lovely with great little decor ect. Well stocked with tea/coffee ect. Could not fault it and will definitely use again.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Piggywood. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful and the views around (even during a storm!) are amazing. Billie was so helpful and we’re already making plans to try and visit again in the summer. My only flag (and it’s absolutely not a complaint!) is for future guests to be aware of the hill down to the cabin. We went during a storm so the hill became very slippy and muddy which wasn’t easy when carrying all your things in a wheelbarrow due to your car being ten minutes away - pack wellies for sure! But please do not let that put you off because it’s just in winter months it’ll be like that and the place is so so worth it!

A really beautiful spot with lovely views of woodland, perfect for a calming weekend away. We came on a cold winter weekend and it was nice and cosy inside with the electric heater on. The outdoor bath was a great experience! David was a very friendly and responsive host.

Ryan's Cabin is possibly my favourite Airbnb so far. Patrick was super helpful and welcoming, had plenty of local knowledge to share and had prepared some handy maps and pub and restaurant info. The cabin itself is spacious for two but cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped and the location was perfect for us. Fresh bread on arrival was a really nice touch (especially for one Chinese girlfriend who recently developed an addiction to English bread and butter!) Highly recommended, can't fault the experience.
