Alex's place was larger than expected. An awesome space for relaxation, close to shops and not too far to beach. We'll be back : )

Nicki and Bruce are really warm and friendly hosts. We had a great chat about family and farming which was really interesting. Bruce took us on a tour of the farm the next day and told us about their animals and crops. We met their puppies and had a wonderful relaxing stay. I would really love to go back one day.

It was amazing, a step back in time, so comfy and warm. Your hosts are local knowledge holders and know how you are connected to the whanau of the town and its history, a real treat

The home was well presented, loved that she used eco products. The host had thought of everything to make our stay an enjoyable stress free stay. It was very family friendly with games, books etc provided for the children. Overall this is an outstanding home and will definitely book again. Thanks Jemma

Pine's place was fantastic, he is an amazing host and I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage close to the beach. Had extensive kitchen crockery and cutlery. The supply of eggs, cereal, spreads and bread was a great bonus. Very clean and comfortable.

We were blown away by the very pleasant home after a long drive on twisty roads. I especially loved the recliners that allowed a relaxing change from the car. The beds were great, although sleep time was too short since we met our guide for Mt. Hikurangi at 4:00 am. In short, it was an amazing experience and one we will remember for a long time.

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if needed. Vaughan was very hospitable as soon as I arrived. I definitely recommend staying at Vaughan and Rita's Airbnb. It is clean & warm, very cozy much like home and the surroundings are amazing. Thanks again very much appreciated.

A really peaceful and beautiful place to stay. A warm welcome by the host and the dog. So much history in the area and very friendly people. Loved it. Great meals at the local hotel.
