Great long weekend spent here. Location was good and lots to do close by. Children loved seeing the animals and Rachel and family were so friendly whenever we saw them Had a question when we turned up and Rachel answered straight away.

We spent Christmas week here to be close to family. It comfortably met all our needs. Great location. Dani was an excellent host. Communication was prompt and she was always helpful. We appreciated the breakfast things she kindly left for us too. We’d recommend Dani’s house for a stay 😊

A wonderful mini break for our family in this gorgeous cottage. Our son loved the fire and playing boardgames in front of it rather than being on his tech for once!

Fantastic stay at Little Fox cottage. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, with added modern touches. Such a warm and cosy feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Adrian kindly met us when we arrived and made sure we settled in ok and had everything we needed. I loved the fact that we could bring our dog along too. Ade was very welcoming and such a lovely guy. There’s a pub which is literally on the doorstep that sells food. Thank you Ade, we cannot fault your hospitality. We will absolutely be back to see you if you’ll have us and will definitely recommend. Thank you!

A great place for a family gathering, comfortable, clean and spacious. Everything you would need in a house, including a very nice hot tub area. Communication was prompt and helpful, prior to and after our stay. We loved the history and character in the house, and would definitely come back.

LOVED our stay! Beautiful accommodation, surroundings and wonderful animals! Loved our highland cow experience and afternoon tea, loved meeting the goats and sheep also! The hosts were lovely, Cat was so helpful and said to text if we needed anything. The fussy wagon was absolutely beautiful, we loved every minute of our stay and think this will be a yearly trip now! We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x
