Great location with easy access to a beach that offered fantastic walks. The unit was quiet and safe with decks that had breath taking views. Close to amenities yet away from the crowds. Teresa & Brian were very responsive & excellent hosts.

I had an amazing stay, the view was stunning, not to mention the sunrise in the morning, I really enjoyed spending my birthday there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and wish to come back

Hampton’s Collection place met all my expectations! The apartment was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and perfectly located for exploring Durban. The communication with Keshav was seamless. The little touches, such as personalised welcome note, made me feel truly welcome. I highly recommend Keshav’s place to anyone looking for a fantastic Airbnb experience in Durban. I can't wait to come back!

We had an extremely pleasant stay. Only what I may add is please to take note that there are a bunch of stairs to maneuver to the front door from the parking bays, and with a lot/large luggage it does make it quite challenging. Also do not take the warning of Monkeys and closed windows lightly, we had a visitor sneaking in through a bathroom window! Seriously can recommend this place to anyone that wants a fuss free stay right on the beach. The owner and the agent were both very easy to interact with and very friendly.

Great stay!! It was our first time in Durban and most shops and locations were around the apartment which was very convenient! Not to mention the host so attentive and friendly! The apartment looked exactly like the photos! No complaints overall it is a great apartment to stay in:)

Wooow, I thank God I found her place. She's Soo kind I tell you.. the place is extremely safe and clean.. it's closer to the beach and the views are breathtaking... we are definitely going back.. I found a home in Durban... since we were busy with my nephew's and nieces university residents... she gave us one free night .. please book and you will not regret.... What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

An incredible stay with the warmest host! Jackie instantly makes you feel at home and completely comfortable in the space. She's also super helpful with recommendations for nearby spots. The unit itself is spacious, with cozy beds that make it hard to leave. I’d give it a 1000/10—perfect for anyone looking for peaceful, quiet accommodation.

Nasreen was such a fantastic host who always kept in contact when needed, was so thoughtful with small touches and sorted out an issue we had immediately. The place was great and the location was amazing. Thank you, We will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place in Westville. It’s just a couple of minutes away from NOSA College, which was perfect for my training. The environment is peaceful, clean, and safe—ideal for studying and relaxing. The space is beautifully kept with a full self-catering kitchen, free Wi-Fi, Netflix, and a study desk, which made it feel like a home away from home. Everything I needed was close by. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This is the second time we stayed at Dawn’s place. We want space and views and creature comforts. Greedy, yes. Sometimes you can get your cake and eat it. I’ll get up early, around 6am. Get my feet on the dewy grass, grounded. I look out over the ocean. It’s seems deep and dangerous. So far away from the hustle back in Jozi. I come up with all sorts of plans for the day, that never materialise. Eish. Around 6:30am a bus edges through the visible forest just over the hedge. People just going to work. Then the ants start to bite my feet and head back inside. Coffee.

The place is as advertised. While it could be cleaner, it's not too bad. The furniture is in good condition, which adds to the comfort. The smart TVs are a nice addition, but unfortunately, none of the apps (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) were working. Access and entry procedures are simple and straightforward. The host’s communication was excellent—responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Checkout can be a bit challenging for a family with kids, but it's understandable. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely go back.

Lovely apartment overlooking a good beach where you can safely swim, nice pool area, secure building. Easy walk to both the nature reserve one way and the busy village area the other. Lots of food options. We enjoyed our stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Avikar’s place. The view from the apartment was amazing, the apartment was located in a peaceful area and the place was within walking distance to restaurants and Ushaka Marine World. I’d stay at Avikar’s place again when next in Durban.

I had a great stay at 15 @ Sea Lodge. The place was perfect for a family trip and everything was like what was described in the pictures and listing. Check in was simple and convenient with the building staff. When we got to the room everything was perfect, the place was clean and it was a great gesture to get snacks and water prepared for us. Enjoyed my stay with the family until checkout. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am at Umhlanga.

We had a lovely stay over the festive season. Great location and all necessary amenities. The jacuzzi and outside area were a massive plus and lovely to be able to walk into the village and to the beach.
