House vacation rentals in Dunes City

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Exceptionally clean and very spacious. There are three bedrooms with queen beds downstairs, a master bedroom with a king bed on the main floor and another queen bed up in the loft. The kitchen is very clean and spacious. There were plenty of cups/plates/bowls/utensils. Cooking basics included a salt & pepper shaker and maybe some oil. The bathrooms were spotless with plenty of towels. Plenty of hot water. We loved being able to use the pool and exercise room at the resort! Just a short walk down the resort driveway. The front desk was very helpful and gave us keys and directions. We did close all the blinds at night because the house is right along the resort driveway so there are several cars passing by. Very comfortable home, the spiral staircase to the loft was fun and the balconies provided a nice place to feel the ocean breeze and listen to the waves. Note: the master bedroom balcony had several screw points coming up through the floor boards! Hopefully fixed now! Be aware!

This place is perfect if you want quite relaxing surrounded by nature. Quick walk to town and ample opportunities to explore.

Dawniel's Cottage was quaint, clean, and well equipped with the amenities necessary to be a second home. The coastal-themed decor neatly accentuated its location. Despite being in close proximity to the schools, the neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The backyard fountain was pleasant, providing a haven for the occasional hummingbird and a place to contemplate activities for the day. The cottage was centrally located to meet our travel plans. We had a very nice opportunity to visit nearby coastal communities, the unique places, and natural features on a day-by-day basis. We had a most wonderful time. Thank You!

We loved this place, the views were amazing, the house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the host was extremely friendly and responsive. I think well be back soon!!

Great location to the Ocean, easy access from driveway. Great views overall. It was nice to leave the firewood for the fireplace, and it was easy to pick up more from the Market in town. The Kitchen was really accessible, and easy to use. Some of the people in my group were not a fan of the 2 steps go get from the kitchen/living room area up to the dining room area and premium view of the Ocean. But, for most people it was not a problem. The TV’s were nice and easy to use as well. Great place overall!

The house was very nice and accommodated us well. We enjoyed the stay. We had our “Christmas” dinner there and it was a nice kitchen to cook in. The only thing was there were no serving dishes like bowls or platters. Otherwise it was great

Absolutely beautiful view of the bay from the deck. The kitchen was extremely well furnished. The beds were super comfortable. The house was very clean. Very quiet neighborhood close to restaurants and grocery store. We would love to return.

The home was beautiful and tucked away in a peaceful cove right outside the heart of Coos Bay. The views were gorgeous and the backyard is STUNNING. Restaurants are driving distance away and there are some great hikes right around the corner.

Beautiful home and yard, secluded and quiet but close to town. They were available quickly for questions. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Very cute little house in a great location. Nice kitchen, which I used, and an awesome shower in the master bath. The host was very friendly and very helpful as I found most of the locals to be. There is a small duplex in the rear that shares the driveway but it wasn’t an issue…I just didn’t recall it in the description. Overall, a great experience and, yes, I would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly hosts who live next door. Easy check-in and check-out. Well stocked home and slept 4 very comfortably (one in each bed).

The accommodations were extremely clean with a view of the bay. It was as described vintage 1930, old but nice with all the necessary items to make the stay enjoyable.

By far one of our favorite Airbnb’s. The house was beautiful, clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed and so well orangized. You literally are right on the beach! The hot tub was amazing and the fire pit under the stars was the topping on the cake. We will be back!! All I can say is book this place!! It’s amazing!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! We loved the house, yard with grill, fully stocked kitchen, bathtub. VERY nicely decorated with lots of attention to details. Host was helpful adding our daughter last minute and recommendations for dune buggy rentals.

A fantastic a cozy spot from which to explore the little town! My kids and I loved listening to the rain while tucked into our cozy home! The space was even better and comfier in person than it appeared in pictures.
