Accommodations in Dumfries

The hutch was a fantastic base for us in the lakes, 15mins from aira force and close to ullswater. We had a fantastic stay. Kid and dog friendly and our kids loved the pool, (we loved the sauna too..!) and the staff at the hotel were lovely, highly recommend!

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

Brilliant place to stay, beautiful views. Lovely host, Heather, great welcome and explained how everything worked, had book with local recommendations. So handy for Culzean Castle and local Ayrshire Coastline and not far from Ayr. Would highly recommend the Sheep Shacks Had a great time

What a place !! honestly the nicest lodge we have ever stayed in and they had really thought of everything !! Gorgeous scenery, stunning decor ! and a bath next to the bed ! there's also a tv you can turn to watch anywhere in the lodge ! never been in a place like it ! they also gave us a welcome pack with local recommendations of eating out and takeaways ! Honestly we will be regulars from now on !!! xx

Lovely place to stay, comfortable, spotlessly clean and Jacqueline was a great host. Homemade cakes, scones, eggs, butter and jams left and a perfect home from home. Lovely fluffy towels, great showers and everything we needed . Would definitely stay again.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

The air bnb is an absolute dream. The host, place and location is perfect and I couldn’t of felt more at home or comfy and cosy Will 100000% be coming back

I stayed at Dylan's place with my family for a short weekend trip. Loved the unique character of the building. Dylan has done an amazing job converting an old delapidated church into a very welcoming house and a perfect spot to explore some of the delights that the Lake District offers. As described my Dylan himself, it is inbred a labour of love.

Natalie's place was super clean, very modern and relaxing. The kitchen was really well equipped which was helpful as we were there as a big group. We had a 1 year old with us and the place was great for her as it had a stairgate and baby plates etc. We did have an issue with the hot water at one point, but Natalie responded straight away to my message to try and resolve the issue and was very friendly and helpful. The beds were also really comfortable!
