A wonderful retreat in a private home area of Cesis City. Quiet, peaceful and very tidy property. pleasant and responsive host.

Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

Stunning views of the lake from the cabin, really serene and relaxing area. Hosts greeted us upon check in and provided instructions and gave us apples. Very kind. In autumn it was a bit cold, but to be expected. Bed was comfortable, and sauna very convenient and warm. Raiskumeitus brewery nearby is a must try.

Very beautiful location, house was clean and had everything that was needed. Perfect weekend getaway place. Hot tub was heated for us and clear instructions were given. There is a nice sauna house where to change before and after hot tub. Instructions how to get there and how to check in were clear. Recommend!

This house was great. We stayed with a group of 5 and everyone loved the house. Beautiful house, great kitchen, and nice yard. Be aware it is an extra cost to use the hot tub and sauna.

Sandra extremely flexible, according, helpful and super friendly. Few requests we had were fulfilled instantly. It is very well run, new place with supper host. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place that we keep coming back to and would love to return again, a great destination on its own with the peaceful surroundings, spacious cooking facilities, sauna and the forest for walks.

This was the cutest little place well worth the money. Had everything it stayed in the amenities and more. I would give it more than 5 starts if that was possible. The host was very responsive to all the questions and even had games and other amenities not listed that were available to use. We will be staying again when my parents come to visit!

Very cozy place to stay.

Lovely place at a very heart of Cēsis. The view of the St. Johns church just outside the windows is beautiful and you can reach all the main sightseeing objects within few minutes. Apartment is well equipped, there was even a box full of toys for kids which made our toddler double happy.

Janis' place is absolutely fantastic! The flat is impeccably equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. All the amenities are thoughtfully provided, and the rate accurately reflects the exceptional quality of the accommodation. The location is unbeatable – just a short 10-minute walk to the historic Cesis Castle and right next to the serene forests of Gauja National Park. What truly sets this experience apart is Janis himself. He is one of the most attentive and welcoming hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with, going above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended!

Very nice and well equipped apartment in the middle of Gauja national park. Beautiful surroundings and a lot of nice places to visit nearby. Wished we could have stayed longer!

The apartment is in a perfect central location, with a supermarket (Top) directly next door. Parking is at the back of the supermarket car park and a permit is provided in the apartment which covers the duration of your stay. The apartment itself is really spacious and has everything we needed, and the smart TV is good for watching YouTube/Netflix etc. One thing to point out however is there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the door and there didn't appear to be a lift so it might be tricky to access for some people. Cēsis is a lovely town and a visit to the castle is highly recommended. It is also situated in the middle of the Gauja national park with lots of things to see in the area, such as the Erglu Cliffs and Turaida Castle which are both about half an hour away by car. It looked like there are also buses which go to Riga. Overall we would highly recommend this Airbnb and be happy to stay again.
