Play Pool at a Sleek Home in 12th South!

ChristianeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fabulous! Most important~ 1. Location, location, location~One minute walk to 12S, but still quiet and calm! 2. Parking~ you have a long private driveway-street parking and even paid parking fill up extremely fast, even on a weekday in the rain! With these attributes, you may expect to have to settle for a less than ideal space. Absolutely NOT the case here. Reminiscent of AirBnB at their high point. Incredible space, design and function! Extremely kind and knowledgeable owners who live nearby and are involved in restoration and preservation of the homes in the neighborhood. Adorable, well planed, spacious home with 2 large bedrooms each with an en-suite bath. Info book is just great and helpful. Owners are responsive about more in depth questions. New restaurant, Fonda Mexican, is one block away and incredible. Try the taco platter-we split it between 3 people which was perfect. Will definitely return when back in Nashville! Thank you!

Nashville Escape by Geodis Park close to Downtown!

JenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Alyssa’s place was the perfect home for my family and I over the holidays. Great location - quiet, safe neighborhood but very convenient for restaurants, groceries and getting into downtown. The house was squeaky clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Alyssa was super responsive in the lead up too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Downtown Dream - Extra Bedding - Mins To Broadway

MistyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Setup of the house is great with separation of sleep space on bottom and top floors, with middle floor as the common spaces. Location was good proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and an easy drive downtown. We were missing kitchen towels and host had some delivered to us right away. Much appreciated. There isn't as much in the kitchen (salt and pepper only for spices, one spatula, one mixing spoon, etc...) would recommend providing some spices and a few more of the eating utensils and cooking utensils for those that want to cook. Coffee maker is great, plenty of plates and glasses. One note, which is not any fault of the property or owners--if you are a sensitive sleeper, there can be a lot of emergency vehicle noise at night due to the location of the property. Some nights we heard none, some nights 4-5 different times throughout the night and the house doesn't really block out the noise. Great place. Would stay again!

We were so grateful to have stayed in such a wonderful home. The plants! So many, so lush. The art added to the plant-filled beauty, as well as the beautiful, quality furniture, blankets, and creature comforts. Plus the outside options are next level! So much outdoor space AND outdoor seating. Great space, great home. Thank you.

Casa Rover | Pet Friendly w/ Fenced-in Yard

KayRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a great time in Nashville. Danny’s place was exactly as described in the listing. Convenient to shopping, groceries and restaurants. Just a quick Uber ride to downtown and all the fun on Broadway. Our two dogs loved the fenced in yard to freely run and play. Showers were awesome and beds comfy.

❤️MANDOLIN COTTAGE❤️Downtown in 10 minutes ❤️

PamRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We booked Mandolin Cottage last minute and our expectations were far exceeded! We traveled with our dog to Nashville to visit our daughters, son-in-law, and grandsons for 9 days. The house and neighborhood felt very safe. We were amazed that just half a block away was an amazing park/greenway/golf course we had visited before. It was absolutely beautiful and so enjoyable to walk around. The neighborhood itself is picturesque! Several restaurants were also walkable. The house and beds were so comfortable and no detail was missed! The master bath was amazing! We had everything and more we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking! The back porch also provided a delightful setting. Ed & Elizabeth were so kind and responsive. We couldn't have been more pleased! We hope to find it available for our next visit! Thank you Ed & Elizabeth!

Southern Charm on the East Side! Pets are welcome

MaddieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Christie’s home was a total gem! We were traveling through town with our pets, and the space was exactly what we needed: warm, cozy, super duper pet friendly (massive fenced in back yard!). The house is in a quiet residential area, but still super central to East Nashville spots and downtown. Christie was very kind, helpful and responsive. I would definitely return!

Nashville Home w/Parking & Yard Walkable to Geodis

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Would highly recommend, only 2 points to consider before booking, which are also clearly visible from the posting, so nothing is obscured: there is no real living room area for chilling in the unit, in addition to no kitchen. Also you are upstairs from the host, separated from a sliding wall at the bottom of the steps, so you’ll want to avoid making excess noise. Like I said though, it’s a great place, would certainly recommend, especially for a soccer game!

We spent my 30th birthday here and the whole family loved it! Rose was very welcoming and responded to any questions we had promptly. Vintage 1920s Craftsman in East Nashville

LexiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great house. Spacious and comfortable. Fully stocked, just bring your clothes. This house had so much more than we needed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms are well stocked and clean. There’s even a bed for my dog. The back yard was private and spacious. The location of the house is ideal. Close to great restaurants and groceries and a short drive to downtown but tucked back enough to be quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood felt very safe. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Nashville. Thank you Julia for providing a memorable stay.

Your guide to Downtown, Nashville

Welcome to Downtown Nashville

For decades, Downtown Nashville has revolved around the lively Honky Tonks, the name bestowed upon the bars and live music venues that pump tunes out into the streets nearly 24/7. Known locally as Lower Broad, or sometimes Honky Tonk Row, the section of Broadway that stretches between 5th Avenue North and the riverfront is the beating heart of the city’s entertainment scene. But even if burning the midnight oil isn’t your thing, Downtown Nashville has plenty more to offer, such as historic Printers Alley — once home to the city’s thriving newspaper and publishing industry — or the galleries of Fifth Avenue of the Arts, which is where many of the famed sit-ins took place during the Civil Rights Movement. The Witness Walls nearby also pay tribute to that period in Nashville’s history. In addition to housing the state Capitol, Downtown Nashville is home to long-time establishments like the Tennessee Performing Arts Center and the city’s main baseball stadium, which also hosts many special events.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Downtown, Nashville

Crowds in Downtown Nashville are at their peak in the summer months, particularly every June, when for four days the CMA Music Fest takes over with stages and free concerts throughout downtown. April is beautiful in the city, when the weather is balmy and spring flowers are in bloom. Spring also brings with it a few major events like the annual St. Jude Rock ’n’ Roll Nashville marathon and half-marathon. If you want to slide in between the busy season and the heat of summer, plan your trip for October, when the hottest weather has subsided. Fall is equally desirable and has a few fun events of its own, including the wildly popular Nashville Oktoberfest in Germantown.

Top things to do in Downtown, Nashville

Country Music Hall of Fame

Even the lukewarm country music fan will be impressed by this expansive museum that anchors the downtown scene. The Country Music Hall of Fame pays homage to some of the greats of the early years of country music while rotating in exhibits, costumes, and tour memorabilia from new, up-and-coming artists. Be sure to check out the storied letterpress operation, Hatch Show Print, that’s been around since 1879 and produces its iconic show posters out of the ground level of the Hall of Fame building.

The National Museum of African American Music

This new 56,000-square-foot museum in Downtown Nashville highlights the many genres that were created, inspired, or brought to popular consciousness by African American musicians. In addition to a theater offering immersive experiences, NMAAM’s permanent exhibitions include such galleries as Wade in the Water, chronicling Black religious and spiritual music from the golden age of gospel to R&B and soul.

John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

This iconic 1909 truss bridge links Downtown to East Nashville, allowing you to cross the Cumberland River on foot for that perfect photo opp. On the other side of the bridge is Cumberland Park, with its well-maintained playground and water features running in warmer months.
