Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly. They are responsive, good advice and available. The accommodation, as advertised, is clean, tidy and well equipped, as well as being warm. An address that we keep for a future stay in the area.

Evelyne and Patrick are very friendly and caring. Their terrace and garden are a real slice of paradise. Unfortunately, we were in a heat wave and it was very hot in the rooms which are under the roofs and one of which is a windowless room, so there was no possibility of opening a window. The fan provided is far too noisy to sleep with. But this does not detract from the quality of the hospitality and the kindness of the hosts.

The stay in the little beautiful charming guest house was really relaxing and wonderful. we enjoyed the quietness and the sorounding nature. there is a highly recommended restaurant just next to the house. the walks up the hill or along the river are beautiful. the hosts were super friendly, we got marvelous flowers from the garden and enjoyed the sauna and the crackling fire at night. The gem of the stay was their dog polly, a sweet cutiepie which charmed our hearts. We will be back for pool days!

This property is highly recommended on all levels! The beautiful scenery, the fantastic garden, the beautiful (and with warmth wonderfully cool) accommodation, the friendly and approachable care by the hostess - we spent two perfect weeks at Claire's place. We will definitely come back. Tip: Be sure to do a canoe tour and visit the market halls in Besancon.

The cottage matches the description but the whole place has a soul and you feel very good there. Carole is very welcoming and available. Small pluses: Courbet Museum in the same square and beautiful hikes near Ornans. Recommended.

Emmanuelle and Didier were great hosts! We had a wonderful week at this place that met our expectations. During our stay we encountered a problem with the fridge and it was replaced in less than 24 hours. We wanted to highlight the kindness and professionalism of Emmanuelle and Didier. Very welcoming and friendly host, who gives their time and shares with pleasure. The accommodation is beautiful combining the new and the old with taste. Breakfast is varied, homemade and excellent. We particularly enjoyed the welcome with homemade fruit juice.

An 18th century building ideally located next to the Courbet Museum, remarkably well restored, with exquisite taste. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the bathroom wonderfully furnished and the bedroom just as well arranged, with perfect bedding. Carole's welcome was quite charming. She had put a bottle of local artisanal lemonade in the fridge for us... A truly wonderful one-night stay! The place to stay in Ornans!
