Nori's place is in a buzzy, 24-hour neighborhood of Toyko, with central & convenient transportation options. If you like Izakaya and a picturesque nightlife scene, I would recommend a stay in Nakano at Nori's hotel. The room was a perfect landing pad for our jam-packed Tokyo itinerary, even though we didn't spend much of our time in Nakano! We were extremely comfortable on the ofuton, and it was fun to flick on the tv late before bed. Everything was clean, tatami were in good condition, and the space had a vintage essence. I would gladly stay again! Thank you Nori-san!

Both the scallor and the family are very kind and friendly, and we are grateful for the situation and requests.We had delicious tea from the day of arrival and a lot of hospitality afterwards.The room was also a very nice room and it was not an entire floor but we had a comfortable stay.It's close to the station. It was helpful.

Location is great but comes with a price if you are bothered by late night trains bring earbuds. It did not bother us and the host was very hospitable and friendly. Good sized accomodation for the area. Would happily stay again!

Absolutely amazing stay! The house is beautiful, spacious, and filled with stunning Japanese art and family paintings — the photos don’t do it justice. The location is perfect: a lovely 8-min stroll down a charming street with fantastic restaurants and shops (best yakitori and sushi I’ve ever had!). It’s quiet yet super convenient, with a direct train to Tokyo Station in about 10 minutes. After a busy day in Tokyo, it was so nice to return to this peaceful neighborhood, grab great food nearby, or shop at the excellent grocery store just minutes away. The host, Keiko-san, truly makes this place unforgettable — an extraordinary, kind woman. When my son got the flu, she gave him medicine, checked in on us, and even offered us to stay for free for as long as we wanted on our departure day so he could rest before the flight. She also offered to treat us to tea, which was so thoughtful. Her kindness meant the world. I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

The place is super small and the laundry dryer doesn’t work and the host isn’t that helpful when it comes to the dryer other than to point out the closest laundromat. That being said, they are responsive and the place is clean. I would NOT recommend this place for groups larger than 2 people max. Ideally a couple that gets along in close spaces. Came here with my wife and 2 young kids and we stayed out the entire day to avoid being inside. The sleeping situation was decent for us but the rest of the place is insanely small. It doesn’t have a living room or even a useable eating area. Shower is so cramped and trying to use the sink is a major challenge for anyone taller than 5’5. I gave 5 stars cause the place is clean and host is responsive. That’s all we can really ask for as guests from a host. It worked out for us but it wasn’t a comfortable experience so know that when booking

The flat is absolutely lovely and perfect for one or two people. Akari is super responsive and very helpful, a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend this listing!

We had a great stay here. It’s about 30 mins from the Tokio city center. There are restaurants and groceries around so you have everything you need. Masakatsu is very kind and communication was seamless. There is a hot bath at the same premises, unfortunately we did not have time to try it. Totally recommend.

Since it was a park near the accommodation, it was so nice to be able to see the flowers in April when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and there were many places to shop nearby such as Don Quijote and Parco, and there was also a Disneyland shuttle, so I just loved the location, so I enjoyed Tokyo so well.♡ And Kotaro recommended nearby cafes, cherry blossom spots, and responded quickly to my inquiries, so I had a more comfortable trip before heading out. If I travel to Tokyo again next time, I will choose Kotaro's place again! I had a great trip to Tokyo. Thank you!

This is our second stay here and we find this place really clean and convenient. Around 5-7 mins walk to Ikebukuro station it is a great place to stay for family. We will stay here again.

We had a great stay at Yuko's place. The place is beautiful, spacious, and well designed for daily life. It's located near all amenities that you could want, with nice cafes etc nearby. It's close to a train line, but also walkable to a lot of places. We would have liked to have stayed longer, and we would love to come back some time. Thanks!

I had work nearby, and the location was ideal.I had a pleasant time because they kindly accepted me even though I was with a medium-sized dog. If the weather is good, breakfast in the garden. Thanks for your hospitality.

The host was very helpful, we brought two small dogs and never been able to contact Narita quarantine, the host will help to call to schedule an outbound procedure, one day in the middle of the night the shower head was damaged, the host rushed in 15 minutes right away, gave me a rain shower head to change, thank you for meeting a good host, thank you for taking care of us for nine days, looking forward to seeing you next time

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was so clean and comfortable, the kitchen has every necessity. the roof deck was a wonderful place to spend time, we enjoyed breakfast there every morning. Our host is fantastic, checking in every step of the way to be sure we arrived and entered successfully, then kids is suggestions of places to to from dining to exploring the area. he was truly so helpful and kind. the stairs may be a lot for some people but it just took some adjusting and is worth it for the space and the roof deck. we really felt we had a home away from home and hope to return when we are able. truly a gem of a place in a great area teeming with so many things to do just a walk away.

I greatly enjoyed my stay here! Tomoko-san was a gracious and responsive host, and was ready in case I missed the last train from the airport to Suginami. The apartment was exactly as described, and had all the necessary amenities for a rainy week in Tokyo. I would definitely stay here again!

The sauna, water bath, and natural hot spring were all pleasant to use!The description of the facility was also easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay.

The neighborhood is very friendly and welcoming. It’s conveniently located close to the train station and offers all necessary amenities. The place is clean and well-maintained, making it a great choice for a comfortable stay.

We used it for 8 people, but we had a relaxing time.The photos were somewhat imagined before the visit, but the bathroom, shower room, and bathtub were more spacious and comfortable than I expected. The main purpose of this stay was the BBQ and fireworks, but they provided both of which were easy to do, making it easy to enjoy. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and amenities, and the size of the TV, the number of chairs, and the arrangement were perfect for a large group to stay comfortably. The interaction on Airbnb was smooth, and we had a peaceful and pleasant time because of the warm welcome on arrival, and the polite response was handled, and we had a peaceful and enjoyable time!I wanted to stay again if I get the chance.

Don’t be put off by the rules- be respectful and this is a great stay. Nice and quiet and close to many food places and stations. The host is very helpful and responsive and even offered to make a restaurant reservation for us. We loved our stay!

I had a wonderful time here, the place is very small (ideal for 1 person) but has all the essentials. the neighborhood is definitely the highlight, lots of small local restaurants, a bakery down the street, and easy access to kamiedo station. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!
