Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Donaueschingen

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Completely positive! We were able to check in earlier and flexibly, which made planning and traveling with a child immensely easier. Host speaks good German, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Very helpful, proactively he brought us a swing for the child. The house has been in top condition, everything has been sparkling clean. You feel right at home! The area is also very quiet and dog friendly. An absolute recommendation!

We had another wonderful weekend in the cloud 7. Daniel & Martin are very warm and helpful hosts. The cottage is really great: beautiful sauna, super equipped kitchen, cozy sitting area, good beds, nice fireplace with wood, modern bathroom, plenty of storage space and all this in a really nice environment :). We were able to relax and stay like at home in this country where we can have incredible experiences. No convenient parking issues. It's a little far from the center of Zurich, but the distance is worth it for this house. The only thing I'm sorry about is that we didn't spend a lot of time in the house, we just entered to sleep. The information for the house, the pictures are all exactly the same. We were very lucky to shop very close to a quiet village of Konstanz Germany. If I come back, my choice will be Andrea and Marc's house again. Thank you so much. You are great.

We enjoyed the small cottage very much. The balcony is wonderful, you really feel like you're in the treehouse. We were there in the fall, so in summer this is probably even nicer. Arne was very friendly and we could even use bikes that were in the garage. Since the cottage was not yet rented after our stay, we were still able to use the whole day. Sipplingen is a nice little place with a small train station. From there we could ride a bike in the train and make nice excursions. Lake Constance is wonderfully clear.

Very nice place to stay with comfortable beds and very nice host. We didn't lack anything. The outdoor area invites you to linger and leaves nothing to be desired for young and old. Especially for families, it is wonderful here. We would come back anytime.

The stay with Claudia was just great! The house is very lovingly furnished and has everything you need for a fun weekend. There is a lot to offer for children and you don't need to bring any toys. Claudia is a super friendly host who greeted us directly on arrival and took care of the first physical well-being. The location of the house is super nice and the garden is also perfect for children, but also for the big ones. Was certainly not there last time we were there.

A great place to stay. Everything is within walking distance and even if you want to go to Freiburg, it is perfect to reach by bus. So great location. The place itself is beautiful too. It was clean, really big and you just felt comfortable.

In the apartment you feel right at home, the style is very special and harmonious. The amenities overall and especially in the kitchen are phenomenal! We have never experienced this in any apartment. From the greatest electrical appliances beyond the basic amenities, everything you can imagine was really thought of. Comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Private parking space. Walks to do right behind the residence. We would have loved to meet Kristen, we didn't see a lot of people, it must not be high season. Charging 55 euros for cleaning is a lot. We took the "Gäste karte" proposed by Kirsten, but not used, not easy to understand how to use it when you don't speak German. We really enjoyed the large swimming pool and sauna (provide 1 euro coins). The area is very interesting for visits, walks...

The closer we got to Petra, the more enchanting the landscape! Their farmhouse is in a beautiful natural setting. His daughter welcomed us with a big smile:) The accommodation was bigger than we imagined and perfect for our family, We did nice hikes, we had the opportunity to go to the small local market in Geugenbach, and we even met a small local Snaps producer who made us taste everything:) Thanks for the few days at your place!

Everything is fine. Beautiful, privately located apartment in the basement with kitchen/ dining area and separate bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and maintained. Nice hosts. Thank you!

Great value for money. Ideal for visiting Strasbourg and Europapark. Right next to it is a huge supermarket.

The apartment was bigger than expected. What I particularly liked, I didn't look at the listing that pets were allowed. It was furnished to a high standard and sparkling clean. I recommended it to our friends Thank you very much dear Yvonne, we will be happy to come back.

"Madita" is wonderful, a pretty cottage in beautiful surroundings, what more could you ask for. We felt very comfortable, everything worked out for us, we can only recommend Madita. Communication with Steffi and Ferdi was also straightforward and consistently positive.

This location is really great if you want to have it quiet. I had a seminar in Konstanz and was able to learn very well in the evening. The nights were very quiet due to the protected location in the courtyard. The small terrace even has sun in the evening and is very comfortable. Oliver was always very accessible, responded directly to messages, described the check in very well. I found the apartment very clean and tidy. It's all like in the photos. It was a great week. Thanks for this beautiful apartment.

We stayed for the second time in the beautiful cottage and Petra and Roger and felt absolutely comfortable again. The house is just beautiful and it has everything you need. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the countryside, this is definitely the perfect place. We were able to enjoy the sun on the terrace and in the garden, but you can also do a lot in the surrounding area. Petra and Roger are great hosts who are always available and have made the holiday even more beautiful with their tips. The Storchenhof is unique, beautiful old buildings, great garden to relax! Watching rooftop storks - great! Bathroom very nice !!! You're just comfortable!

Lucia was absolutely lovely and gave me more recommendations than I could take up! They have a great Italian restaurant close by and a Michelin star place I didn’t get to try.

Great place to stay for me and my 15 year old son while we went to Europa Park. Alena and Josef were very friendly hosts, and Wilhelm the pig was an extra bonus. We saw in the New Year watching the fireworks from the terrace. Best view of fireworks I’ve ever had (and we used to live in Sydney) - can highly recommend. Thanks!

The apartment is amazing, very clean, big, fully equipped. Valeria is very nice and friendly person. She helped us with many suggestions and provided a lot of useful information. Schluchsee is the best location for the traveling in Black forest area. Everything is close and very picturesque.
