Vacation rentals in Dinas Powys

Lovely little location gorgeous farm surroundings but not far from all the essentials. Was fantastic for our young children to see ducks, goats and peacocks just wandering around near to the building in their natural environments. Kids were fascinated by the ducks! Lovely comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms and a well laid out kitchen area with all the essentials and some unexpected but appreciated extras! Gorgeous hot tub, sadly as I was down with a cold I couldn’t really use but was informed that it was excellent by my wife 😂. All in all, we would be very happy to stay here again in future and would recommend to anyone just looking to get away from it all - but still be near the shops if needed!

Great host and a great house to get around in Porthcawl so central to everything. Dave and Malcolm were the most helpful people and there was always a quick response to any queries. Would definitely stay again 😃

Wow!!! We were excited by the photos but wow!!! The view is breathtaking and is something you have to see to truly appreciate, exceeded our already high expectations….Gavin was super helpful, very laid back about checking in and out times, bed was comfy and considering the property is advertised as a ‘tiny home’ is much bigger than we thought it would be. My favourite airbnb stay by a country mile and we will definitely be back. Thanks Gavin.

We had a lovely stay, it was just right for a family of 3 and ample space for more. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a holiday or short break in Penarth or the surrounding areas.

Almost felt emotional leaving Olivia’s Roost today. We decided to book a very last minute weekend away, after a stressful few months. Nothing could have prepared us for how beautiful this place really is. Hot tub was on and ready for us to jump straight in and a beautiful fire in the living area. The bed is extremely comfy and had 2 of the best night sleep I’ve had in ages! Everything you could need for a weekend, away to cut off from the outside world! We did go to the local pub off the recommendation of the host, which was equally lovely! Hosts were lovely…. Cannot wait to come back! Nikki & Mark

Thanks Roger and Sylvia for the perfect place for some much needed R&R You were such great hosts nothing was ever too much trouble The warmth of a burning log fire on arrival was very welcoming as were the provisions of tea, coffee, milk and sugar etc and the endless supply of firewood. Sarah and I just wanted a few days peace and quiet and you certainly delivered with your absolute gem of a location. the cabin is spacious while cosy and providing all we could ask for. The large fully fenced in garden was perfect for Marley our sprocker and we had no fears whatsoever of him escaping. I couldn't believe we had the choice of 4x BBQ'S 1x being gas and a chiminea a truly fantastic find and we are delighted to have found it. wishing you every success thanks again Gary & Sarah Owens & Marley

Absolutely stunning place. Remote enough to feel isolated and private, close enough to the real world for easy access. We were there during a snow storm and Chris advised us on the best way to deal with it and was incredibly helpful with his local knowledge. Place was cleam, warm and incredibly cosy. Had everything we needed. Location was fab. And we got a visit from Bellsy the Cat. Would thoroughly recommend.
