Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Diemelsee

We stayed at the house for an extended weekend. It is in a very quiet location. The decor makes you feel right at home. Especially in cold temperatures, the fireplace is a real highlight. The kitchen is well equipped. And if you had any questions, you could always reach out to the host. We will definitely return.

Cozy house with new pool and new sauna.

The house was very nice and modernly equipped in our area on the 1st and 2nd floors. The first floor had not yet been fully renovated. When we were there, no work was being done. There was no noise or other nuisance. It was clear that a lot has been and will be invested in the property. It was perfect for our family reunion. The large kitchen on the 2nd floor was our meeting place for cooking, eating and socializing together.

This is a great place in a stunning location. Katrina is a perfect host. Would highly recommend!

We stayed as a group for a girls weekend. The house is super nice and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We had everything we needed on site and more. Communication went smoothly and the fireplace was already prepared before our arrival, so we could start directly into a cozy evening. We were also very surprised by the good amenities in the kitchen, which we have never had in any vacation home. Our highlight was definitely the sauna and the ducks in the garden :) If we are planning a comparable weekend again, we will be happy to come back.

A very tastefully furnished apartment, very cozy, great equipped kitchen, good mattresses, very nice outdoor lighting for sitting outside.

Roswitha has responded flexibly and spontaneously to requests from us. She was always friendly and accommodating. The apartment was very large, spacious and corresponded to the pictures.

A wonderfully beautiful apartment in an idyllic village. We were guests in Schmallenberg in the apartment of the Kölbel family in winter. The apartment corresponds 100% to the pictures. Super easy check-in/out. Arriving at the apartment, we immediately felt at home. Everything is super clean and the apartment is well laid out, enough space for 6 people. The bathroom and beds are a dream💯. The Kölbel family is super friendly and helpful. In the village you will find everything you need, a small but fine EDEKA (Tante Emma) a beverage market a pastry shop and some nice restaurants. The apartment has always been a great starting point for our excursions. We thank the Kölbel family and are already looking forward to next winter in Schmallenberg.

We felt right at home in this sparkling clean spacious apartment! The new decor is thought out in detail and tastefully put together. We didn't miss anything, neither with the modern kitchen equipment nor in the living area. In the sleeping spaces there are generously planned closet spaces and storage spaces with practical hanging options. It was particularly pleasant that there is a guest toilet in the entrance area! Rarely have we experienced such perfect amenities on our travels! The communication was immediate and reliable both in advance and during our stay, i.e. excellent! Spacious, yet cosy. Easy parking and self check in. Nice and quiet and very clean and comfortably furnished. We didn’t stay for long, but one could wash and dry laundry and looked to be a great kitchen to cook in. Great art museums and beautiful parks. Lots of walking trails right outside. This was a perfect base for us and resting place for a short ski holiday in Winterberg. A very quiet, pleasant and comfortable apartment with a nice atmosphere. Clean, great beds, nice sofa.
