Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Diani

This was our second stay at African Art House and it was again very pleasurable. Very comfortable, friendly and accommodating house staff, Anina very responsive to any problems, short walk to the beach, easy access to transport, etc. Looking forward to stay #3, whenever that might be.

we loved our stay. we had a late check in date due to an emergency and she was kind to extend our stay to cover the late check in. She was available all through and took time to sort the internet issue for us. She has a beautiful home and would recommend it any day any time.

When you enter the bohemian house you feel right at home and don't want to leave ever again. Rama, the chef was also a highlight during our stay. Rama has always a smile on his face and prepared delicious food. 4 huge bedrooms, large pool, just a walk away from the beach ( through the gardens). We hope we can come back next year. Perfect communication with owner.

Absolutely wonderful Airbnb and very considerate, friendly and helpful host. Clutter free, well thought out and with all the necessities - a home away from home. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Amazing location right on the beach with big garden, lots of space. It's an old house with no AC so be prepared for warm nights if it's the hot season, but even then we had good mosquito nets so we could leave the windows open and it cooled down OK during the evening. The staff - cook, house manager, security guard etc are all extremely helpful and friendly, helped us organize taxis and more. We and our kids felt like we were staying at a family home with them and our kids will miss them all so much! Watch out for the monkeys stealing your food if you sit outside (we still ate outside every meal). It's a simple old style home, laid back beach house style. Nothing fancy, which is exactly what we were looking for.

The Villa was the perfect place for our family. There were 9 of us, with each couple having their own room and private bathroom, we had plenty of comfortable space. The pool was private and welcoming. The beach was a very short walk, maybe 3-5 minutes, with beachside restaurants accessible along the shore. The chef was very affordable and the food splendid! The staff were friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The onsite manager, Evelyn, was always available and helpful. She arranged for three of us to have a massage by the pool. We would gladly stay again!!

Great location in Diani. The house is unique having access to a pool and being right on the beach. Nearby restaurants and bars are super easy to walk to along the beach, the closest one is only 5 minutes away. The section of the beach the house is on is very clean and quiet. The house was lovely and very clean. Risper (housekeeper) and Wafula (chef) made our stay amazing. I would highly recommend this apartment for staying in Diani and will definitely come back.

Coming from Canada, I wasn't quite sure if the place would be a good fit for me. It finally was. I just had the most welcoming host Lucie. So very friendly and attentionate lady. She was very respectful regarding privacy. I was supposed to stay 3 days but ended up staying 12 days. That means everything. I met the ownwer Oyvind a fiew times during my stay. A very nice and welcoming gentleman as well. His son Kevin is the manager and always around to help if needed. Very nice too for sure. Planning to return in January 2026.

Martha was very kind and responsive. The apartment is inside a compound with several other houses but it was still very peaceful. The pool is great and has enough space for everyone who’s sharing it. All the staff was nice. The location is great, with the pool right in front of the beach. It’s a short walk to Salty Squid Restaurant. We had a great time and will definitely come back

Catherine’s place was surely amazing! I actually really felt at home and happy! She’s very responsive and extremely helpful!! I would highly recommend to everyone, without second thoughts try her place and you’ll see. She helped me with directions, booking my ticket back and recommended me to good restaurants around. She did lots of research about anything I needed and returned with the best genuine results. I’ll surely return and also recommend to my people who’d like to travel to Diani. Great place- Queen was very helpful, courteous, and empathetic! Constantly checking on us….. the apartment was clean; great wifi, soft mattresses, and adequate kitchen utensils. A 2 min walk from great, cheap Swahili food (Coast dishes); 7min walk from Java and 24/7 carrefour supermarket. Again, Queen was the icing on the cake! She is a great person- customer service is 11/10!!! Thank you!

An upstairs apartment in a shared compound with communal swimming pool. Very nice and helpful staff, watch out for the monkeys when you're enjoying your fruits! ☺️

We stayed at Anab’s place for a month and found it perfect for both work and comfort. The table was ideal for two people working remotely, and the fast, reliable internet made it even better. We also appreciated the spacious kitchen with plenty of counter space. The bedroom gets warm in the afternoon, but the fan above the bed made nights comfortable. Most importantly, Anab was an amazing host—friendly, responsive, and always eager to help. Highly recommended for both short and long stays! 😊

Enjoyable stay at Omondi's place. Easy check in process. The building is generally old but the apartment had all the basics required. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and proactive . We had an enjoyable stay overall. Thank you Omondi.

This place was absolutely amazing. It's in a great secure location and Fred the caretaker was incredibly helpful. Our host was even willing to allow us a later checkout due to our flight being delayed. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Diani. It was beautiful and peaceful. The next time I visit, I'll definitely book this place once again.

Faith is a kind and responsive host. I always choose to stay with her when I am in Diani as I know I can count on her to always be available. The place itself is in the best location at Blue Marlin and next to Salty Squid, but also with fully equipped amenities. I would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful 8 day stay at Sean's place. Check in was easy and the place matched the photos exactly. This was our first time in Diani and Sean provided a guide to which was very helpful. His place is located in the middle of Diani and very accessible to the beach, restaurants, shopping and activities. We had plenty of drinking water and housekeeper came every 4 days. With the amenities, location, excellent host and overall value, Sean's place was a great choice. Can't wait to comeback.

The Apartment from Julie and Nancy is real clean and nice. Everything there what you need. The location is great . Very close to a supermarket 6 min walk and restaurants and bars. Also the beach is only a few min. walk away. Nancy was easy to reach and helped us quickly by questions and problems. The place is very pleasant and secure. Highly recommended.
