Vacation rentals in Diamond Island

What a place !!! Beautiful location with everything you would need for the perfect getaway. extremely well put together with very unique personal touches ! The host was amazing and will definitely be back if I am in the area highly recommend ! The pictures don’t do this place justice…

This home is easily one of the nicest we've booked on Airbnb. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and in the words of my husband, "there was nothing weird about it, like sharing laundry with an upstairs tenant or a garage that never closes". Would 100% stay here again and in fact may do so later this year. Union Pier is a good branching out location for everything the area has to offer, but the neighborhood where the home is located also offers a peaceful respite for those who just want to shut out the world and chill. John was super-communicative and offered several helpful tips and suggestions. Last but not least: our party agreed this home has the most comfortable beds!

My husband and I and our mini-golden doodle rented cottage 14. It was super clean and exactly as described in the listing. We enjoyed our coffee on the front patio in the morning. We also spent some time at the pool (it was clean). The Neighborhood is located in an extremely quiet area and within walking distance to the beach. We walked the short distance to the beach and enjoyed the sunset a few nights. The dining recommendations provided by Jonathan were GREAT too! We tried David's Deli, Rio's and Redamak's. We also discovered a tasty pizza place, Villa Nova, in New Buffalo. It's next to Barney's. We would definitely recommend The Neighborhood to friends and family.

I will call it "Mary Poppins", practically perfect in every way. If you are looking for a quite scenic vacation spot, this is it. Their are obviously things that could have been better, but we got exactly what we wanted, no notes, no issues, no problems.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

I brought my four kids age 2-16 for some special time at the lake, dunes, and St Joseph. We really enjoyed the home, it was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated… comfy beds, well stocked but not cluttered kitchen, and my little ones absolutely loved the children’s bedroom. The private beach is an easy walk and it’s beautiful. Kristi had great recommendations and is the most gracious and hospitable host.

Highly recommend staying at Ken’s place! He was a great host, always responsive and more than happy to provide us with local recommendations. The place was clean and looked exactly as described. It was the perfect place for a mom’s weekend getaway!
