Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Devils Lake

Kitchen, bathroom and beds were clean. It felt homey and we were able to make supper and relax after a long drive. The TV was easy to operate and the electric fireplace added a peaceful ambience to the living room. We felt safe. There was a plug with USB ports for charging several devices at once on the desk. One bed was too noisy for a good night's sleep - hopefully the box spring can be replaced soon.

It was a lovely home, very clean, comfortable beds, spacious dining room table for eating and playing games, kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of coffee making supplies, lots of helpful notes and instructions posted throughout. We’d definitely stay there again when we’re in the area.

The weekend we spent at the cozy cottage was delightful! We walked to Muddy Waters Stadium for Hillsdale Homecoming game. Peaceful location, very clean house with a fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable space, nice reading room in back, beautiful trees and spacious yard, clean bathroom, and Roberta was a very responsive host. We hope to return soon! Thank you for such an enjoyable weekend!

Beautiful home full of little extras to make the place comfortable and enjoyable. We found the place to be a perfect meeting spot for us along with our grown children and their spouses. There was plenty to do in the area, and many ways to relax and enjoy each others company in the home. Jennifer communicated well and was an excellent host.

My boyfriend and I booked this place for a NYE retreat. It absolutely did not disappoint. We were striving for a cozy cabin feel with a fire place so we could read do lots of cooking and unwind. It was perfect, had everything we needed down to the ice maker! We also thought the WiFi scanner/access to all TV apps was such a nice touch. We definitely want to come back in the warmer season to enjoy the screened in patio and fire pits outside. Would be perfect for a family or friends get away. Thank you!

The game room, kids' playroom, and gym were lifesavers during the cold weather, helping us fight off cabin fever. All amenities were well described and worked perfectly for our needs. Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about Lisa and Phillip’s property. We got married this past weekend in Ann Arbor where I grew up, and the Lodge was the most perfect home base for our wedding weekend. We had been deliberating about booking a place closer to downtown, but knew as soon as we walked in to the Lodge that we had made the absolute right decision. Phillip and Lisa are so wonderful and thought of every detail. Pictures truly do not do their place justice. The wood throughout the house is so beautiful, the natural light is gorgeous. It is so clear how much love and care and pride they’ve put into the home. It is the perfect combination of homey and modern and rustic and high tech. It feels like a private retreat but is only ten minutes from downtown. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We feel so lucky to have been able to spend our wedding weekend at the Huron River Lodge. We are already strategizing about how we can come back and book our next stay!

Erin’s place was beautiful. The water was so clear! Beds were super comfortable, and area was nice and quiet.

The location was perfect, close to university and close to downtown. The apartement has everything you need. Best part was the host. Rebekah was there whenever I needed something. She was super friendly and answered fast whenever I texted her. I felt very comfortable during my whole five week stay. Grateful that I found this place. Totally recommended!

We were traveling from Chicago to my daughter's home in Ypsilanti for Thanksgiving. While 20 minutes away, this was a beautiful property with a cozy feel thanks to the furnishings and fireplaces. Little added touches like a dedicated electric pot for tea, teabags and a small jar of honey were appreciated. Plenty of extra throws/blankets for cuddling on the couch. A large yard (not fenced) to take our puppy out to. Also nice to have an indoor garage space to use. Helpful in the cold. Amy was a pleasure to communicate with!

Clean, cozy, and unbeatable hospitality. Rosemary and Doug were wonderful hosts for our family and gave us a perfect landing pad for a Labor Day getaway that felt both relaxing and like an adventure. Enjoy swimming off the dock or take a paddle around the lake in one of the kayaks to enjoy the water. Or, if you’re lucky, Rosemary and Doug will take you on a tour of Round Lake on their pontoon. You can even have some family bonding time inside watching a movie or playing ping pong in the downstairs game room. And don’t forget to give Ashes the cat (who prowls the outside) lots of pets. He’s a good boy who keeps the yards free of mice and chipmunks. The kids LOVED playing (and crafting) in the treehouse. A very memorable perk! Don't miss the village shops, the bonfire pit with *incredible* sunset views, and walks near the water too. If you’re looking for a comfy little nook to slow down and enjoy the lake life, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay.

Annie's place was perfect for a weekend trip to Ann Arbor. It was clean and cozy, and it was very easy to get into downtown Ann Arbor by car (just 5-10 minutes!). Annie was super friendly and accommodating, too. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Bronwen was very kind and responsive, and the space and neighborhood were very peaceful! A short drive or bike ride to downtown and near a fantastic trail and scenery.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

This place was so cute and cozy. It was perfect for us to visit family living across the lake!

We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

Hard to manage DVD, Movies are damaged and freeze image when they are in DVD Player. Suggest installing a new smart TV

We had a fantastic stay! The house was huge, offering plenty of space to spread out and lots of fun activities for everyone. It was cozy and perfect for a winter getaway—we loved spending time playing games and relaxing together. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the cottage for a winter weekend in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The host was proactive and gracious in communicating with us. Because we saw people snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake, we knew the ice was thick enough for us to use the snowshoes we brought to hike across the lake. Other than the snowshoeing, we stayed inside to read, play board games, and watch the snow fall on the lake. We had a wonderful weekend.

Kaylee was a great host. When the first cabin I went to book was already booked, she quickly recommended this one to us which was very helpful because this cabin hadn't shown up on my initial search in the app.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

The cottage was very nice and clean. We loved it, stayed cool even on a very warm day. They have just about everything you would need as far as kitchen supplies,(plates, pans, utensils, etc) the property is kept up very clean. they have their own small boat launch which was very helpful as we brought our boat and the public launch was closed. nice spot on the lake. The only complaint we had was the address shown didn't bring us right to it. we called the host and she gave us a better description. All in all we loved it.
