Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Desert Hot Springs

We SO loved Tisha’s place for a quick girls trip! Cozy and thoughtful touches throughout the home, super clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen for staying in to cook, but close enough to town if going out is preferred. Our host was helpful and quick to respond; look no further if you need a place in JT that’s only a few miles from the national park if you want to do some exploring as we did! 😊

It was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends!

While this was a "work trip" with the boss and another co-worker in tow, this location worked out great! It was close to where we were working, quiet in the evenings, and close enough to town, all while very relaxing when we were at the house! If we return next year, this will be our #1 pick again! When the boss gives you the "thumbs-up," you know you did good!

We just came home from a week at Jaspreet's place - 4 adults and 2 teens. The house had plenty of room to spread out, with a great living space and dining area that easily fit our group without feeling at all crowded. We enjoyed using the outdoor space as well - a nice seating area, hot tub, propane firepit and propane bbq. Something that was really nice that we haven't always experienced at rentals - the kitchen was big and had empty cupboards where we could put away our groceries. Often we have to leave all our food on the table or counter at a place because there's no extra cupboard space. Same in the bathrooms and bedrooms - it was nice to be able to stay tidy by putting our things away somewhere. We really enjoyed the feeling of being out in the desert (rather than smack in the middle of a neighborhood) - the sunrises and sunsets were stunning. We would definitely stay again!!

The cabin was great. The views are amazing the deck looks brand new along with most if not all the wood in the cabin. The signs posted all over the cabin of instructions and bits of info helped. We loved everything about the cabin. Would absolutely come back

We had such a wonderful stay! Definitely want to come back again. David’s place has everything you need to be cozy and comfortable. We loved waking up and enjoying the hot tub while sipping our coffee out on the deck surrounded by trees. The nearby town has so many cute shops and restaurants. Thank you David!

What a great place. Spacious, clean, perfect layout. Close to restaurants, groceries, anything you could possibly need and very close to entrances to Joshua Tree NP. Only a 40-50 min drive to anywhere you want to go I. Palm Springs. You will not regret booking this place!

Amazing location! Quiet and secluded for anyone that needs a getaway from the city life! Highly recommend and plenty to occupy your time and mind. Will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Jewel. Genaro was always responsive to our many questions before and during our stay and very flexible with our needs. The house smelled and looked like it had just been cleaned upon our arrival. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The home was quiet and comfortable. Thank you to Genaro. We look forward to another visit sometime soon!

Beautiful place! It looks just like the photos. 6 of us had more than enough space. Kitchen was well stocked. The backyard with the pool and jacuzzi made it extra special. We didn’t need the pool heated. It was refreshing to dip into after getting hot in the jacuzzi. Diana was quick to respond to me whenever I messaged her. She gave me some good breakfast recommendations. We attended the BNP Paribas Open and found this location to be conveniently close.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's over the years and Steven is by far the best host. His place was amazing and the communication was outstanding. He takes pride in his beautiful home and it shows. The privacy was terrific. He had noted that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary early and had a special cake made for us waiting when we arrived.....so sweet and thoughtful. He recommended places and when the gate remote battery went dead, I emailed him and within minutes the maintenance person brought us a new one. We will definitely stay here again. Hated to leave.

Very conveniently located. 10 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. 5 minute walk to Demuth park with pickleball courts and dog park. The host was very responsive and provided everything necessary for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The yard was nice and clean. I really appreciate that the house is dog friendly and so close to the park for dog walking. Also great was the option to heat pool and/or spa separately. We used the spa. The pool was nice but we didn’t opt to heat it as it was a little too cool outside for most of our stay. The house is convenient to the airport but that comes with hearing the planes throughout the day (but not too bad - and not at night). Great wifi. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors.

Haley’s place is a lovely home in Palm Springs, close to the airport and a short drive to downtown. Two bathrooms, comfy beds, a clean kitchen with supplies, lovely pool, patio and well maintained yard (with grass!). Plus a heavy loaded lemon tree! What’s not to love? Recommend highly!

Love the house. Plenty of space and we really enjoyed hanging out when not playing golf. Comfortable. Plenty of space. Great host. Recommended!

Had a great time at Bryan's place. Closer to the North entrance of JTNP which is less crowded than the West entrance, and the same amount of driving time as the town of Joshua Tree to popular spots like Hidden Valley. 29 Palms is also a nice area with more going on than Joshua Tree. Super appreciative of pet friendly features like a fully fenced-in yard, dog bowls, a dog bed - the pets in our group were very happy. Check in was seamless, and Bryan was super communicative throughout - special thank you to Bryan for letting us know that someone had forgotten something very important after checkout!

My husband, pup, and I spent a peaceful and very relaxing weekend in this beautiful home to celebrate our birthdays. The location was perfectly situated close to some of our favorite restaurants while also providing us with a quiet and private retreat from the world. The hosts were incredibly communicative throughout the weekend to ensure we had everything we needed. Our pup also enjoyed her time running around in the spacious fenced in yard! Overall, it was a really lovely weekend :)

My family and I had a great stay… loved the kitchen it was fully equipped. Home is very spacious and ample seating area to relax. Overall the house was very well kept and very tidy. Nevertheless we had a wonderful get away weekend with the family.

we loved our stay up on the hill above yucca valley. the sunsets blow your mind, the night sky - epic, good birding! the house is exactly like it looks in the photos - artfully curated stuff everywhere - amazing vinyl collection, and a kitchen has nice quality knives pans that makes you feel like someone actually lives in it. great communication with the hosts - everything about our stay was excellent. hope to be back in the future.

We loved staying at Lee's Casa Azul for our family vacation. All the spaces are decorated nicely and very practical. It provided many opportunities for fun: hot tubs at night under the stars, hammocks to relax in and read, outside space for fun games, and an inside game space for ping pong and darts. It is easy to take a walk down to town for a coffee or pizza; the National Park is a short drive away. Best of all, Lee answers any question you may have in about five minutes or less. He is available and accommodating.
