Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Derby

Highly recommend place to stay in Derby. We had 11 of us staying and the house was super comfortable and easily accommodated us all. Some lovely quirky elements from the old doctor’s surgery, plus modern facilities, a great deck and handy fire pit for the evening’s star gazing. Would definitely stay here again. Lucy, the host was very responsive and helped with local recommendations. Also - the town of Derby is brilliant. Five star review for the town and the house :)

Really cosy and quaint home and near Derby for our family mountain biking adventures! We were very comfortable here and felt at home. We loved the fact it was on a hill and had beautiful country views.

We had a great time here and would come back again and stay in this house. Lovely surrounds although we did not see the illusive Platypus. We came to ride the Derby MTB trails and had magic weather. The beds were really good as were the facilities, bathrooms etc. It is a great place for 4 although a full house of 6 could be a bit tight as the kitchen/ dinning area is a little tight, there is no oven but and air fryer is provided. The bike shed was appreciated as was the bike cleaning gear a good setup for riders. This home just felt "good" and was maybe 800 meters from the town centre, a short pleasant stroll. Make sure you have a swim in the river.

The keep was an amazing getaway. Plenty of nature around to appreciate , with a picnic area near the creek. Beautiful 360 views and amazing scenery. We were very pleased with the well stocked food and drinks , with a plethora of alcohol options. It was the most well stocked bnb we’ve stayed at - with plenty of tea, coffee and cooking supplies too. We didn’t leave the keep for our whole stay. There’s so much to do and just relax as well! Fantastic location. Plenty of room for the six of us. Lots of lovely natural light and sun from the huge windows! Super comfy beds. Plenty of extra supplies if needed - We only used the oil and salt and pepper. Julia answered all my messages super promptly - even when it was late at night!

We had a fantastic stay at Sawmiller’s cottage! The house had everything we needed for our few days there and it felt so homely. We were able to enjoy all of the gorgeous spaces in the cottage, the back deck and bath overlooking the view were particularly relaxing. The kitchen was beautifully appointed and the bedrooms very cozy. Mark was a fantastic host, very responsive to my messages and provided thoughtful recommendations for the local area. Will definitely be returning to Sawmiller’s cottage again!!

Such an amazing place, last minute booking for a tee days of gravity mountain biking. Ticked all the boxes! Location, high quality finishes, kitchen, bathroom, beds, no highway noise, bike workshop, and space. Highly recommend

Julie's place was perfect for mountain bikers. It was clean with a place to store your bikes and a spa to recover in!

Good place to stay for MTB adventures in Derby. Clean, tidy and well appointed. The indoor bike shed very handy and felt secure. Enough parking for 3+ cars. Full marks

We had a fantastic night Nardia’s place. The location was great. The place was clean and well presented. Great bike storage and a nice 30 minute ride into Derby. We’ll defiantly be back.
