Places to stay in Defiance

Gretchen was a wonderful host. She answered our messages quickly. When we mentioned we'd be leaving before breakfast was served she made arrangements with her staff that enabled us to enjoy a scone and fresh fruit before leaving. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. We highly recommend Gretchen's Place. We will be back!

We had a really nice stay. Kathy was responsive to our questions. My family really liked the place and asked if next time I came over to Fort Wayne we could stay there.

It was a cute cottage. Very clean and cute decorations. There was a lake view from the back porch where we spent a lot of time while we were there.

The house was super cute and had everything we needed for a girls weekend. Big table for games, HUGE couch to lounge on and watch movies. We made the very quick trip to Olers for supper on night 1 and didn't have to leave the house the rest of the wknd. We all were happy and said we would stay again.

Family Traditions is way more beautiful than the pictures!!! Don was so responsive and accomodating. We had an absolute fabulous stay at this getaway! We highly recommend this spot for a friend/family/couple's getaway! You can't ask for anything better ~ it was clean, well stocked, plenty of room for all, perfect location, we can't wait to go back!!! Thank you, Don!!!

We had an excellent stay at Michael's Carriage House. It was a well appointed kitchen, two comfortable sleeping areas and all the little extras you would want. We will gladly return when we are back in the Fort Wayne area. Thank you Michael.

Amanda was a wonderful host and was super responsive to all of my questions! The loft was very clean, roomy and was conveniently located downtown so my friends and I could get to places. I especially appreciated the video regarding the parking garage and how specific instructions were! Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Toledo.

Okay, why do any of us choose a rental home over a hotel? For me, it's to get a place that goes beyond the cookie-cutter box hotels and to feel comfortable and "at home". Lacey nails it perfectly! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home in this super cozy house. The location is great, the neighborhood is super quiet. She has the nice amenities that make the house the perfect place to relax. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom with everything you need, great living area, plus two other spots where if you want to go hide and read or work, you have privacy. I have nearly zero reasons to return to Toledo (I came for an NCAA hockey tournament), but if I every do, I'll absolutely stay here again. Thank you Lacey for a great stay!!

I have stayed in a few of Marshall's properties he is always been great and his properties have always been clean and felt like home if you can stay at one of his properties I would highly suggest it what a great host
