Quiet location with a nice stay. Clean and tidy.

We had a very nice weekend at the accommodation of Gelmer and Nienke. The area is vast and quiet. The cottage is very cozy and the hot tub is very relaxed. Highly recommended if you want to get away from it all

We had a lovely weekend. The hosts are very friendly and the cottage and especially the hot tub make us happy to come back.

Great place. The location is on a business park, but if you are in the building or on the terrace you won't notice it. The building and grounds are oriented on the adjacent water.

It was beautiful at Jitty's, we felt right at home - we saw many animals in the yard, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, even poultry:) The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxation and deceleration and the hot tub was great too. For children, the accommodation is certainly also very interesting, as you can also watch the farm life (e.g. milking). You need a car to move around flexibly - Franeker and Harlingen are great little towns with some attractions (especially the planetarium in Franeker!). Leeuwarden is also quickly reached and a little bigger, there is also a lot to see there. But you can also take very nice walks from the property. We will come back very gladly!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent a weekend at this beautiful Airbnb home, and it was just amazing! Location: The location is really quite and idyllic, ideal for relaxing and unwinding from everyday stress. Surrounded by nature, we were able to unwind wonderfully and enjoy the tranquility. Accommodation: The apartment itself was very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. There is everything you need to feel home. Jacuzzi: The absolute highlight was the jacuzzi! It was not only clean and well maintained, but also perfectly positioned to enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside.

Upon arrival at the B&B of Henk and Liesbeth, we were warmly welcomed. Beautiful quiet area. The plot is beautifully maintained. The old horse stable has been transformed into an atmospheric space where we felt right at home when we entered. Nice styling. If we wanted to go to the hott tubb we indicated that 3 hours in advance, and she made sure he was at the perfect temperature 3 hours later. What a delight! In the Lodge next to the Tubb also burned inside the wood-burning stove. We had a lovely weekend. Absolutely recommended and worth repeating for us. We had a lovely time at Lydia’s. The cabin is decorated with so much love and one feels right at home The cabin is super clean, very well equipped and child friendly. Our 2-year old loved the toys and didn’t want to leave. The surrounding area is just as beautiful with beautiful forests, stunning meadows, quiet villages and lovely museums nearby. On top of that Lydia is a great host. She replies super fast and was always friendly and super helpful. One can truly feel how much she loves her holiday home and it was such a joy for us to stay at her place. We can highly recommend everything about our stay. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature and some family time. Thank you for having us!

The calmest and coziest little getaway cottage you could find! We had such an incredible time in Annedoor's sweet house. There is a designated parking spot that could fit our van, we were greeted to a lovely and warm house on an extremely cold January weekend (the two stoves are perhaps the centerpiece of the house - so warm and easy to manage. My boyfriend wanted to build a fire, I was happy to use the more modern stove). The house is perfect - there is so much space, all the amenities you could possibly need. We enjoyed a great selection of CDs and records with a lovely sound system. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - we made some fresh pasta and pancakes (there's even stroop provided!). Full collection of games to play, books to read if you forgot them. The house was absolutely spotless, there's some lovely national parks closeby and there are two supermarkets only a 5 min drive away. Highly recommend. Thanks Annedoor :)

Very nice experience. will most definitely come back. super for our dog, lots of places to walk him and no problem to bring him to the restaurant. good food and good price. with a' perfect view.

It's an incredibly cozy and cozy cottage. Also very practical. The bedstee to read in is completely great! Wonderful place to retreat with a book. Just leave it outside storms and rain!

Lovely place with all the amenities and fully stocked. You don’t need to bring anything except toothbrush! Coffee is also provided. And if you are lucky you will get to play with the very happy doggy. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a beautiful starry night. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely garden shed right next to a forest/ Havelteberg. Relax in a cozy cottage with warmth, and homeliness. Breakfast was neatly ready in the fridge and hosts were hospitable and were always ready with some tasty or a bloke wood for the wood stove outside. Highly recommended to get away from it all and to unleash it all (despite that, still good WIFI😛).

Nice chalet, beautiful view..all comforts and not completely unimportant the bed was wonderful!

We loved our time at Pean! It was beautiful, serene, and the house looked exactly like the pictures. I was happy to see the map of the community ahead of time so we could find our house (we arrived after dark) but they were also very proactive ahead of time in explaining how to find it. The fireplace was wonderful- very cozy and they provide some wood to start you off with. (They also sell more on location if you don’t want to bring your own.) And we took advantage of the floating sauna- easy to book, clean, and nice view of the night sky. Our kids loved the play area and assorted outdoor toys. Our dogs were thrilled to join us on vacation (by the way- pristine clean- we couldn’t tell other dogs had ever been!) All in all- we were very pleased and we would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic week of vacation Extra nice to experience peace and quiet with New Year's Eve instead of harsh fireworks due to fireworks-free park. Beautifully decorated house and wonderful hiking area. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay on a beautiful lake. Many possibilities, especially for children. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our vacation early due to illness, but we would be happy to come again!

May stay here last weekend. Warm welcome and a lovely feeling upon arrival of the cottage and surroundings. Total peace and amazing views. Sunset was really beautiful. Village of Lemmer is fantastic! We had rented this log cabin last minute to get a breath of fresh air in Friesland. Don't expect luxury, but the log cabin has everything you need for a quiet holiday on the Frisian Lakes. Kitchen, cooking utensils, chairs and seats to sit outside. The beds are fine. Close to the water, so swimming in the morning before breakfast is no problem. The pitch itself is spacious. We were able to use a supboard (nice experience, never done before), cycling (not used, we were more on and in the water) and there was much more to use (yoga mats, golf set,...). The rubber boat with BB motor that we also put together (was probably not used for a long time, instructions were provided, but was a bit of a puzzle with the bottom plates) and made a few nice trips on the Fluessen. Communication with Thijs was prime, responds quickly to questions. All in all had a wonderful 5-day vacation - where the beautiful weather also played a big role.

We had a wonderful holiday week here. Location was perfect. In no time you can walk to the small Frisian city of Sloten and explore the wonderful region by boat. The Check Inn was smooth and we got a detailed instruction for the boat right from Thorsten. The chalet corresponds exactly to the description and is cozy. Our kids and the dog enjoyed the meadow next to the cabin to play ball. We especially thank Thorsten for the great excursion ideas by boat. A truly helpful, friendly and always available host.
