My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property was just a dream.

Lovely home, this was the second time and absolutely worth it! Beautiful surroundings with across the road all the Schoorl dunes, so beautiful. The house breathes character and the kitchen is equipped with everything you want. We'd love to come back!

My partner and I spent five nights in the cabin and were absolutely in love with the place! The cabin is incredibly cozy, and with a lot of personality. It was clear that Han has put his heart and soul into it and we loved it. The location is superb, quiet and within walking distance from the lovely Alkmaar although we very much preferred to stay in and enjoy the cabin and sorroundings, as well as the very friendly animals. Last but not least, Han is one of the loveliest hosts we have ever met and could not do enough for us during our stay, even kindly offering a fascinating tour of the 1632 mill! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

We had a great stay at de Kleine Walvis. Henk was a great communicator and everything went very smoothly with all the arrangements. We highly recommend staying here (though in busier periods, some people might not like being in a holiday park).

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

We had a great stay. Although the price for the low season is not without, the location and amenities were great. It was also very clean. We will be happy to come back.

Nice tinyhouse in a nice place with lots to see: pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, donkey, plant nursery, etc. Wonderfully quiet (dead quiet) and close to nice places such as Harlingen, Bolsward, Sneek, IJlst, Workum. With unobstructed views over the fields. Nice staff. Wonderfully warm and very clean.

We had a lovely stay. Nice space, kitchen, bathroom, everything top and great beds.

My friends and I had a very nice stay in Ak's apartment. Instructions via the app were very clear, communication was very nice anyway. And we were very well received in the apartment! The stay was super clean and everything you need is present. The location is top! Walking distance to parking garages, restaurants and shops. The only but is the noise at night from the church bells. Furthermore, really highly recommended!

We stayed at the Airbnb for a week and it was really great! The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos and is located exactly in the city center - not far from many small shops, cafes and restaurants. Communication was also very pleasant - we knew we could always contact Sylvia with questions, …

We had a very nice weekend in Alkmaar. Everything is accessible from the apartment and plenty of parking is available. Gladly again.

Top stay, beautiful location and nice host. Can be a bit noisy outside in the night due to the location in the center, but definitely not disturbing. Thank you!

Had a super nice stay. Sanny was very quick to respond and the instructions for arrival and departure were very clear. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Nice quiet place within walking distance of the beautiful center of Alkmaar. Includes a parking space. I would definitely stay here again:)

Anna's apartment is very nicely decorated and was extremely clean. By car, you can quickly reach the beach. It's about a 40-minute walk. Keep in mind that there is no supermarket in the immediate vicinity. We found the surroundings beautiful, but surprisingly noisy due to the agricultural operation. Communication was great.

Excellent apartment, great location. This is our 2nd time staying here and will be back again. Diwa was excellent host, asked her to recommend a taxi firm and she had a taxi arranged to pick us up next morning, can’t beat service like that.

The incredible view matches the pictures shown. We felt very comfortable, one of the best Airbnbs we booked. Amenities and location correspond to the description. Always happy to come back

Small nice apartment that we found clean, centrally located, yet quiet . Comfortable beds, bathroom mini but it is completely sufficient . We will be happy to come back. Sandra

A very nice and tidy stay in an ideal place, within walking distance of downtown. Friendly host who responded quickly and we were allowed to check in earlier and check out later, which was super nice! We enjoyed it!
