A great stay. My third time staying in the cabin. Stay there for a few days around my birthday. My friends come over and we have a nice time exploring the Christmas house, go to restaurants in Akureyri and chill. You have everything you need in the cosy cabin and the hot-tub is so nice.

This place is great, quiet and in great location for anyone visiting iceland and the gold ring. We had a great recovery night. Thanks

Heiða Kristín’s place was perfect. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Great view from the bedroom window too. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice wood house close to the water.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Everything was nearby and the town was really cute. Definetly Wörth a visit when staying in the north of iceland.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids, aged 5, 9 and 10 that came and stayed for 5 days over Easter. Lovely apartment, easy parking, great communication with hosts, clean and comfortable. The kids made good use of the Playstation and we enjoyed having a sunny brunch in the spacious garden. Alexandra and her family clearly live in the house normally, and it was nice to be a guest in someone's home - great for families with kids as there's also plenty of toys and a playground just outside.

it was very great to stay at Tomas's place. I felt like I was home. it is very near the bus stops. ver very close to the city center. Tomas was always good at responding fast and very nicely. I highly recommend.

Great place for a couples getaway or family adventure. The hot springs tub was very relaxing and beautiful spot to watch for the northern lights. We didn’t take advantage of the horseback riding excursions but would in the future if we stay again for more than 1 night. Very kind and responsive hosts.

Clean, looks very new, good beds. Great environment, beautiful valley with great hiking oppurtunities. I really recommend booking the breakfast, we got f.ex. among other things smoked salmon and smoked trout, on freshly baked bread, yummy :)

Absolutely wonderful spot. We saw the northern lights and spent each night in the hot tub. Our kids loved the horse tour and everything was perfect!

I really loved the place and was very comfortable. Everything felt up to date and everything was in well working condition. I arrived late at night and left early in the morning so I didn’t get to really see the area or any horses unfortunately. But had I known there were activities here as well I would’ve booked those too! Will have to consider coming back in the future.

nice apartment in Akureyri, you could get everywhere by foot and the main bus stop was only 2 minutes away. Rosa was very friendly and always responded

The place was beautiful and the view from the place was even better. Couldn’t recommend enough, we loved our stay! The valley helped with cloud coverage and we were able to see the northern lights from our hot tub!

This is a gorgeous home. I am so lucky to have found it and spent a few days here. I had some trouble getting to the airbnb due to a storm and Kjartan was so kind to offer help and come rescue us. Couldn’t have picked a better place near Akureyri to call home.

We had a beautiful christmas stay here! The apartment was so cosy and we were sad to leave this place. It felt refreshing to be able to cook our dinner every night and sit down and watch some TV. The fold out couch was great for movie nights too!

The cabin was absolutely lovely with fantastic views of the mountains. Lives up to its name and is a very cosy and warm atmosphere, the host even has a selection of games, coloring books and reading books available to guests which was a lovely touch. Hot tub in the evening was a wonderful place to relax and watch the stars (and northern lights!) Plenty of space for us to relax when we were not out and about. Beds were really comfortable and I loved the extra giant pillow. Driving to Akureyri was a simple drive just over an hour, with even more stunning views on the way. Would most definitely stay here again!

Had a great winter retreat at Lea's cabin. It's wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, from BBQ to hot tub. Bonus points for the Northern Lights we got on NYE!

This is probably the coolest airbnb that I've stayed in (have stayed in 400+) and every day and night that we were there we thought "wow, I wish we could buy this home". If you want to see Iceland yet experience it in a more unique way in terms of staying on a quiet island not far from the mainland where there are no cars and not many people, then stay here. It's super easy to catch the ferry back to your car (about 15 minutes) and the views from the airbnb and the island are so beautiful that you won't want to leave anyway. Seeing the northern lights from here was also unreal. I would easily come back. Bjorgvin was super easy to plan with before as well and gave great advice.

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.
