Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dalmeny

Oh my goodness! What a stunning place to stay for 7 nights! It had absolutely everything we needed for a fun, nature-filled, family holiday: direct access to the lake to paddleboard and fish, a huge grassy area to run around and play, walks through to the beach...and of course close proximity to everything that beautiful Bermagui and Narooma have to offer (cafes, mountain bike parks, beaches, supermarkets). But probably the element that made the stay so perfect was Rachel and Brian's authentic and genuine friendliness and warmth. We were greeted with beautiful smiles and welcomes... and a plate of delicious treats to enjoy after unpacking too. Everything felt so homey and comfortable. The beds were perfect, the kitchen so well stocked (the best we've ever had!), and the outdoor area complete with a fire pit to toast marshmallows on. We will definitely be back! We are already missing the serenity and kangaroos :) Thank you so much Rach and Brian for having us.

A wonderful, spacious, well stocked home that was perfect for our group of two families (4A, 5C). Super close to the beautiful creek and beach, which is perfect for families. Self contained upstairs and downstairs gave some privacy for each family while still feeling like we were all together. Peaceful garden setting backing onto the creek (bonus; kayaks provided and it's very easy to kayak from the house to the creek by the beach). Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Quality inclusions throughout, which were just right - good quality but not so fancy that you have to worry the kids will break something priceless! No air conditioning and linen, but this helps keep it affordable. Driveway is steep and requires some skill to navigate as there are three driveways together and neighbours have asked that guests don't use their driveways to turn around. This was ok for us but if you were towing a trailer or not confident reversing it would be difficult. Would love to stay again!

An absolutely stunning location! We really loved our brief stay at The Terrace, such a great space, it felt huge and loved the decor! Really comfortable beds, great shower and brilliant outdoor space! All very clean. An easy 10 min drive into Narooma, we also really enjoyed our wander around the old town of Tilba! Thank you!

We had 4 lovely days in Stephens house. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially enjoyed the delicious coffees. With 5 people in the house it was really handy to have 3 bathrooms after coming back from the beach. Everything is clean and the amount of wild animals on can watch from the balcony is amazing. We could walk to the beach and at high tide the river was our place to go to. We liked our stay and would come again.

Very homely and spacious and lots of extras in the house. I loooved how many Power point's and power boards there were. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you need plus some. The downside for us is that the bedrooms did not have block out blinds so the rooms were extremely bright until sun went down 9pm. With 3 small kids and 2 that are still taking day naps this was almost impossible. From now on ill need to confirm with future accommodation that they have block out blinds or start travelling with portable block out blinds.

Beautiful property and location. The deck and backyard were so peaceful and had great views of the countryside. Had plenty of space for our group over the weekend. House was clean and well presented. Would stay again.

Brian is an excellent host who is proactively helpful and friendly! The accomodation was beautiful beyond my expectations, with coastal towns only a 20 minute drive away!

We LOVED staying at Kate's place. The location was great, and we loved the beautiful breeze and the sound of waves. Kate was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely re-book Kate's place if we came by this area again! :)

This apartment suited our needs for a girls weekend. Check in was easy and the apartment was exactly as it was described, some unexpected features like the gorgeous walk in wardrobe made the experience even more desirable. Ross's linstructions were so clear, that the only time I had to message him, was to tell him we arrived and that we were leaving, but he still responded with a welcoming and departing message very quickly. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. Thanks for having us Ross, We hope to return in the future.

Libby was very helpful as a host and provided all relevant information. She was very helpful in communicating between booking and up to the time of our arrival. The accomodation matched the description and we were very happy.

A very practical house in a great location. Comfortable, spacious, and walking distance to the beach and shops. Right on the Narooma - Dalmeny Walking/ Cycle Path.

Mark and Sue have created a beautiful oasis retreat that encourages relaxation, mindfulness and wellbeing. The surroundings are tranquil listening to the forest sounds, and you can drive 5 minutes to relax on the beach. We have had an incredible experience that will see me through to my next holidays. I look forward to staying again for longer to experience total relaxation.

Both my family and friend’s family had a fantastic time here. The home was beautiful and spacious, very neat and clean. The spa was working and was enjoyed during our stay. The property is in a great location, walking distance to shops and only a short drive to the beach. It was a little daunting lighting the gas stove with a lighter. And the pans don’t sit well on the middle burner. Which was a little unsafe. But outside of that great place and would love to stay again. Evelyne is a fantastic host and provided detailed information and quick responses to any inquiries we had. We were also offered early check in and late check out which was great. Anne and Terry have created an exceptional experience. Three generations of my family (from 6 months to over 89 years old) travelled from around the world for a reunion here over the holidays. We enjoyed walks, cooked together in the marvellous kitchen, explored Milton and rested well. The property was beautiful and accessible for all ages. Lovely views. Morning concert from birds. Close to Bermagui (we love Honorbread!) and also a good mid point for exploring central tilba. Wallaga lake was really peaceful too. The house was spacious and clean. It got cold while we were there so the fireplace came in handy. Very minor issue was we didn’t realise there was no shampoo available (vs advertised) — we found body wash in one of the cabinets in the kitchen so that was good to have. Overall great stay and lovely / peaceful atmosphere. Great home for families if you’re making the drive to this part of the coast, thanks Sally!
