Very cozy house, secluded on the edge of the forest. Top equipped kitchen, easy to use wood stove in the living room. There are many moose in the area that come all the way to the garden, from where you can watch them from the kitchen window!

The most beautiful cottage you can imagine! The pictures don't do it justice, it's just so cozy in there! When we arrived the wooden stove was already burning and multiple fairy lights were lit. It just felt amazing entering this little house. Entering the hot tub while the outside temperature was below freezing was only one of the highlights of our stay. The beautiful and quiet landscape was another. Simone and her husband were very friendly and helpful!

Beautiful place with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. For me as a scooter, it was a perfect location, as you can take the scooter from the trail directly to the cabin. Can easily imagine staying again.

great house with ample space for 10 people. phenomenal views and wonderful to sit outdoors in the jacuzzi in 10 degree frost and enjoy the evening falling on.

We had an absolutely fantastic winter weekend getaway deep in the beautiful nature at Susanne's place. Susanne was a great host, very communicative and clear instructions helped for a smooth stay. We shall be back!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in Kristina’s house during our quiet family vacation in Sweden! The house and the garden are absolutely charming, filled with flowers and candles that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is truly a family home, not only equipped with everything you need for a long stay, but also furnished and decorated with such care and love that you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The surrounding woods and lakes are perfect for hiking, foraging, meditation, and relaxation. Kristina and her son Alexander were wonderful hosts, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrea's house and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and homely accommodation with that little extra. The house was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was great – 10 minutes by car to Järvsöbackarna but still quiet and peaceful (right by the lake so good for swimming in the summer) The beds were comfortable and all amenities, from kitchen equipment, sauna to Wi-Fi, worked well. Andreas was friendly and accommodating, quick to respond to messages and gave great tips about the area. Things we needed to know such as tips on a lift pass to local "gems". The whole family had a great time and we are more than happy to come back more times - top ratings!

We stayed at Maria’s home as a family of 9 over Christmas and could not have been happier with our stay. The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed, and was spacious enough for our group with room to spare. We loved that it was located right next to a ski lift and after a day in the snow we could relax in the sauna. Maria was also very responsive with our many questions and even helped us to book a restaurant! The only hurdle for us was we needed to bring our own linen, which was a bit difficult coming from Australia. However Maria was very communicative about this from the start and we were able to get this sorted just fine. We highly recommend Maria’s home for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy a countryside oasis. Thank you so much Maria!

We had a lovely and cozy stay in Rullbodarna! You got a homey feeling, the surroundings were beautiful and it was a very quiet place. We are happy to rent this place more times, maybe in summer time next time. The landlord Kristin was quick at responding to my questions and concerns.

Very lovely home. We were 7 + large dog and had no problem getting space. Clean and fresh and very cozy to sit in front of the fire and look out on snow-covered landscape. A perfect place to celebrate Christmas

Our time at Irja's cabin was wonderful. We had a panoramic view on the lake. We adored exploring the area with the canoe. Irja and Sten made us feel right at home and were most welcoming. They even drove us to the train station on the day of our departures. We definitely would recommend visiting!

We, a family with three children (13, 8 and 7 years) had a fantastic week. A beautiful view of the lake (with thick enough ice for ice skating) and a large layer of snow during the week so we could also sled wonderfully (thanks to a sled that Joel got especially for us). The peace and quiet in that place was stunning and the cottage warm and cozy. A perfect place for a winter week with nothing at all. Ludvika is a nice town, with a swimming pool (we only discovered there, so no swimwear). Säfsen is easy to reach and great for a day of skiing. We spent most of the time skating on the lake and in the sauna.

The house is beautiful, warm, cosy and in stunning surroundings. The area is peaceful and makes for the perfect getaway. 10 minutes away from the local shopping area.

Rolf was a most helpful host. When I had problem with my car in Bollnäs he drove to meet and help me. No extra charge. My very best recommendations

Andrea's house was really idyllic and had the most beautiful view. The light was really special. There was so much snow that it was possible for us to sled down towards the frozen lake. There were great opportunities to go for walks in the nearby forest, we just followed the snowmobile tracks. Inside it was cozy and there were good opportunities to cook and enjoy yourself in front of the wood-burning stove. There was plenty of room for a family of 4 with teenage children. It was very quiet and the one person we met offered great advice for excursions. There was good communication with Andreas, even during the stay when we had questions about the area.

Willem's place was very nice and matches the pictures and description in the listing. Extra plus because the linens were missing and that the host had prepared a fire in the fireplace for arrival. Willem (and his wife) were nice and helpful and went beyond their hosting when they even arranged two bottles of wine for our company. A gold star for the hosts and this home is highly recommended!

Really impressive place with lots of space. Definitely suited for bigger groups, but also worth it, if your traveling alone. Just wandering around and exploring the place is a lot of fun. Communication with Marianne was nice and smooth.

We experienced our stay as very nice. The cottage is cute and cozy and all that is needed is present. The beds have good mattresses, in short, recommended as far as we are concerned! The host Richard also responds very quickly to questions.

Couldn’t be better. A true find. We stayed in Lena’s house for a week of meditation and it was awesome. She was very supportive and we hope to be back.

The cottage in Dalarna was a great experience that really matched the pictures and description. The house gives a genuine feeling of being in Dalarna, with its charming decor and close to nature. However, the small room with a bunk bed can feel somewhat cramped for two adults, but it fits perfect for children. Åke and Gun were incredibly nice, accurate and helpful hosts, which made the stay even better. Highly recommended for a cozy holiday in Dalarna.
