I had a fantastic experience at Walisons Homestay. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I loved the concept of service apartments (probably the first in Kashmir)—spacious and well-equipped. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, always helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

- Location sent by Ammar is bang on. just get off the cab and u r right outside the place. - The place is good for short & long stays. Well heated rooms with electric blanket , blower. When we arrived the electricity wasn't there. Ammar quickly arranged a gas heater for sometime to warm the room. It was 0-1 degree when we arrived in Srinagar. - Fully functional kitchen is available you can make your own tea or breakfast. we made maggi for ourselves.Ammar was kind enough to make us some tea. - Restaurants and stores are nearby if you want to get something - The rooms are clean well lit - The bathroom is clean - Hot water is available - Get your own towel - Ammar is a nice guy , we had a long interaction over different topics , it was fun. - I was unable to get a cab to airport at 5AMas temperature that day was -4 degree. Ammar was kind enough to drop us at airport. he charged us only for the fuel - It was a great place to stay. I highly recommend the same. Ammar see you soon when I'm back in Kashmir

The Shami Inn is conveniently located near key tourist spots . It also has good connectivity to public transport, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel has a welcoming ambiance. From the reception to the rooms, the interior design is modern and comfortable.The rooms are spacious, and clean. The bed is comfortable and basic facilities are provided.The host is friendly and helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and customer service was prompt and responsive. Whenever we needed anything, the host was quick to assist.Considering the amenities and location, The Shami Inn offers great value for money. The pricing is very reasonable for what you get in terms of quality and service.The food was exellent, mostly we felt like we are eating at our home. Bashir sir and family were the warmest of hosts that we had met so far. We spent 4 nights at the property on our dream holiday to Kashmir, which turned out to be most memorable and adventurous one. Right from the booking, Bashir sir was in touch to help plan our itinerary and helped us book a trustworthy cab. Bashir Sir's wife is an amazing cook. We were welcomed with warm Khawa(Kashmiri Tea made with Saffron)which so far is best Khawa that we have tasted during our trip followed by great sumptuous dinner. The crockery with which they served the dinner belong to the Mughal era. We are all our breakfasts and dinners at the property. The property is away from the hustle bustle of the city overlooking Sangreshi mountains. Rooms are pristinely clean with electrically heated bed, warm blankets and fully carpeted floor. Toilet was super clean with all the essentials. We will certainly come back for sure! Look no further for your Srinagar stay. Thank you once again for having us🙏

I had a wonderful stay here! The accommodation was extremely spacious and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. But what truly made my stay special was the exceptional hospitality. Musa, the host, was very helpful in every way he could. He went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. His warm and welcoming nature made all the difference. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Nowsheen and her family made me feel right at home. Right from the point of my arrival at the airport, her husband was there waiting to receive me. I organised with him my out of town travels for sightseeing and other activities. He also dropped me off to the airport at the end of it all. I had no issues at all during the entire time that I stayed with Nowsheen's family. I took the large room with lounge, kitchenette and attached bathroom, upstairs. Apart from being a great host, Nowsheen is a great cook. She prepared and served some of the best selected dishes from their traditional Kashmiri Wazwan feast. I was fortunate to meet her two children, who are very cultured, welcoming and friendly. The early morning prayers from nearby mosques were soul enriching, something to be aware of, while in Srinagar and nearby locations, you will hear prayers from the Mosques during various set timings in the day. Overall, the best experience for me. I will definitely be back for more stays soon.

Our stay was fantastic! It was very homely all through. Aarsh, the host, was extremely helpful - in arranging a lot of key things for our visit. He helped us making our trip entirely seamless. Aarsh's mom was incredibly sweet and accommodating all our requests (and the super-delicious breakfast and the Khawa on the chill mornings she provided us!). This place was the most homely and our families loved it the most of our entire journey. The stay was clean, neat, and well-maintained, perfectly located away from city chaos and close to the airport. Highly recommend staying here for a truly authentic and sweetest of Kashmir experience!

Home away from home….

The place was very clean and spacious. The staff was very responsive and helpful and made the process very easy. The hosts were very helpful with connecting us to drivers. Location is amazing as it is very close to Dal Lake which is the highlight of Srinagar. Definitely found it to be worth the price and would recommend everybody to stay here. The view from the balcony in the master bedroom is stunning! Just ran in issues with the wifi a lot.
