Vacation rentals with breakfast in Dakshina Kannada

We stayed one night in the Bright house. It’s not a fancy place. But if you enjoy a rustic villa all to yourself …. This is a right place. The house has all the basic amenities and the property including the surrounding garden / external area is immaculately kept . In addition, if you like bird watching, you would love this place. The host’s family lives in a separate house in the same compound. The host, Bhagawan, doesn’t live here but he was always in touch (remotely) and was extremely helpful. The best part of this place is his mother. She is a charming lady and an excellent cook. We loved her local cuisine. Unfortunately, she speaks only Kannada which i couldn’t speak. But we managed the communication through our driver. The only con part of this place that we felt is that the rooms were relatively smaller in size. We were only 3 people and this didn’t bother us. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet break around Sakleshpur, this place is highly recommended.

Our stay at this 2BHK guesthouse in Pushpagiri was truly unforgettable. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the property offers breathtaking views that immediately make you feel at peace. The host, Bhavan, was prompt and attentive, ensuring everything was smooth from start to finish. However, the real star was Chandrashekar, the caretaker. His warmth and hospitality went above and beyond, making us feel completely at home. Not to mention the delicious meals he prepared—each bite was a treat, adding a whole new dimension to our stay. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with amazing views, incredible food, and top-notch hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Mr. Thoufiq was the host, the rooms were super clean and welcomed us with a refreshing smell. He was also generous enough to accommodate an extra guest. The host also helped us in arranging local tours and sightseeing.

Edward organized a great stay for us specifically a great campfire at the evening time. We had a great time at the property - beautiful beach right in front!! Edward also took an interest in our itenirary. Hanumanthiah the helper at home deserves a mention - he made multiple teas and coffees for us and also Maggie. Overall was a great experience!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Although it was slightly on the expensive side, it was well worth it. The rooms were incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable experience. The highlight was the delicious home-cooked breakfast in the morning – truly a treat that added a personal touch to the stay. The host was amazing – very responsive, proactive, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. Her genuine smile and enthusiasm for hosting made us feel so welcome. If you’re looking for a clean, spacious place with a warm, attentive host and great home cooked breakfast, this is the perfect choice! Highly recommend it.

Awesome property in the middle of Coorg's coffee plantation. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The most memorable experience was the bonfire, with a perfect barbeque setup by the host. We visited the property with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was really great. We felt at home. Roopa ma’am is the best host. Her cooking skills are at different level. The food was the best. The property has the best view. I would request everyone, whoever looking at this review. Please visit this place.

Apartment is spacious, neat &  cozy. Amit was responsive and accomodative. He was helpful with the local recommendations as well. We had a pleasant stay.

Location is very tranquil, calm, and soothing. The hosts are very friendly did everything needed to make our stay memorable. Pallavi and her mother in law are very good cooks. We toured their farm where they grow coffee and pepper. There are a number of waterfalls and historic temples in the area that are worth visiting and not to forget the hikes that lead to beautiful views of the mountains and green valley. On areas for improvement, the place has one bathroom for a room of 8 people and an additional shared bathroom for the 3 rooms. The hosts can increase the number of shared bathrooms.

Rima parents owns and lives at this property. The elderly couple are very friendly and hospitable by nature. We felt, our stay was with an extended family members. Aunty prepared fresh breakfast which was very delicious, full of flavors and authentic local taste. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The property is walkable distance from famous landmark- Kapu Lighthouse.

beautiful stay, in case you want to be in the city. the place is situated right in the middle and close to all the touristy places. our intention from the trip was to relax with good authentic Kodava food( please check our Coorgcuisine, which is 5 minutes from the homestay) Monthi aunty is a wonderful host and treated us with the best and utmost sincere hospitality. The rooms are ultra clean and we can ask her for anything and she will help us out. the homestay itself has a beautiful garden and waking up to such beauty is wat one needs on a vacation. She has two dogs of her own, who are caged. we prefer dogs sleeping with us and we found that a bit difficult to digest. but then, it was her home and we couldn't say much. Overall, a good experience.

From the second you set foot on his property, he makes you feel like you are a member of their family. He does not only show concern towards his guests but rather he leaves no stone unturned in trying to fulfill the guests' needs. This level of attention is indeed something that is difficult to find elsewhere. His property is secluded from all the noise maintaining a calm environment because it is surrounded by trees. If you're overwhelmed by city life and want to take a break and start fresh, then look no further. Regardless of where you place him, Ganesh would always make you feel welcome. He and his family would treat you with hospitality that can only be described as genuine. Speaking of food, the home cooked meals served are delightful. They are really nice - both to look at and to eat. So they add a nice touch to the stay. Staying over at Ganesh’s is not just about being a visitor for a couple of days but a wholesome experience. Highly recommend!

The Lodge is an incredibly beautiful cozy place with a fantastic history. Everything was as per the description. Smita and Arjun were fantastic hosts, extremely warm and friendly. It has a beautiful garden with many different spice, coffee, fruits and other interesting plants. The housekeepers, Mahadev and Kavya, were always happy to help with local taxi and resturants. The breakfast was always hot and fresh and very tasty. The internet was good so I was able to work from there as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there and felt at home at all time.
