Frances was the perfect host. She met us on arrival, gave us a quick tour and explanation of the essentials and she'd even been kind enough to get in some groceries which was very much appreciated after a long day. The house is spotless and so comfortable with hotel quality beds and bedding and a whole host of extras you rarely get. I particularly loved the Brita water jug for fresh water and not being reliant on bottles. The bath was heavenly and aesthetically, anyone who popped in to visit us raved about the place and how beautiful it was. We arrived just after wifi was installed and it was very much appreciated too. Very often in rentals you get the feeling it's been kitted out with bits and bobs, but everything here felt very considered and of great quality. The views down to the lake were amazing and rain or shine you could just pass the day watching it. Ultimately this feels like a home but with hotel quality. Far more than a rental. Highly recommend. We stayed here over New Years' for a quiet break with friends away from the seasonal madness. It did not disappoint - located in a gorgeous, peaceful area, it was immediately very easy to relax and unwind. The house was immaculate and rooms were very comfortable. It was very quick to heat up from the January weather and the wood burner gave it a very homely feel. Everything felt like it was brand new and it was obvious a lot of care had been put in to making everything as convenient as possible. Angela gave fantastic communication throughout - exceptionally helpful but not overbearing. It's rare that you find a place where the host really cares about your stay - this is one of those gems. We will definitely be back another time - thanks again!

Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful home - very spacious and cosy. About 15- 20 minutes drive from the city. Patrick and Carmel were great hosts. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely stay.

Mai is an incredible host! Her home is so welcoming and beautiful! Her hospitality was top notch! We messaged her looking for an item and 5 minutes later she showed up with it for us! Absolutely incredible, her small little touches and she went above and beyond for us. We are looking at going back very soon. Mai’s property boasts all you could need! It’s very information of what’s in the area and the personal touches meant a great deal to us! Thanks a million once again Mai!

We had a really wonderful time at Lauren's accommodation. Everything was new, clean and cozy. We have nothing to complain about. We would definitely like to come back. Excellent accommodation for a great price. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Had a really lovely stay in Carol's cottage for NYE, beautifully decorated and well stocked kitchen. Bedroom was fabulous, comfy with a heated blanket so perfect for the winter and we loved the stove downstairs. Carol was super responsive, and resolved a very minor issue quickly and proactively for us - much appreciated! Very peaceful location, short drive to Cloughjordan's main street.
